So I made a reddit thread about my before-mentioned issue, if anyone comes to think of what might have happened: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1rrrkd/what_happened_to_my_09_bitcoin/

Thx. No more off-topic post now Smiley

I find that whenever i try to follow these speculation threads i always get lost pretty quickly once people start pulling out the numbers/graphs, how did you guys start learning how to read and process all this information and make predictions from them?

The thing is it's 99% bullshit.
Nobody here can predict where Bitcoin is coming.
Ignore all the graphs and drawings. They are totally useless and the people using them are delusional.
Just ask any of those guys if they are a millionaire. They will ignore you. That says enough.
*Going*  Wink

Going, yup Smiley
Grin You are right about it, Studying graphs over a weekend ok because of banks closing but we cant use graphs if it's not normal, we should be going off whether it's becoming adopted by mainstream or not.  Next week Walmart could be selling bitcoin giftcards or western union installing ATM's all over the world and then suddenly BOOM! But you just have to wait, massage that bitcoin into people's minds  Smiley

I agree. If someone makes a prediction which ends up being wrong, they just forget about it and it goes away. But as soon as they make one which by sheer luck is right, they jump up and down saying "I told you so! I know everything about Bitcoin!"

Besides... If you know for a fact what the price will do tomorrow, why the hell would you share your secret inside information with everyone else? You'd use it to your advantage to make a profit.

Exactly that.

But one thing you can gage is the mood on this forum. And then try to make a value judgement.

I was just eyeballing the i286.org page a few hours ago, and noticed the frequency of red sells vs green buys increasing. Took a screen shot, was about to point it out by uploading to imgur....and the price went from 1220 to 1150 before my eyes.

So no real crystal ball prophecies, but others have said easy money if you want to try your hand at day trading. Sell above 1200, buy back before 1150. Except this major pattern has only happened once so far in my day.

Ofcourse there are signs every now and then and you can make sort of a prediction but drawing a line on a chart to explain where Bitcoin is going the next 2 weeks is simply completely ridiculous.

Dude, enough, just man-up and accept the hit when you buy back in, some you win, some you lose.

OK, finally I got it. Everybody is just envious because I have $millions and they don't, and I did it in the very coordinated way that never risked the majority of the position, in fact at current prices the remainder of the position is already worth more than the whole of it before divestment.

When you cannot argue against operational excellence, you whine. No whiners will be invited to the inauguration ceremony of my castle, however.

Sorry to be so blunt about it but this seems to be the only realistic explanation for the whinery, am I not right?

No, i doubt anybody here will give a shit about your money.
I doubt anybody here is jealous of a troll with mental sickness.

agreed with niothor.

This is just a reminder to those who might have forgotten or those who are new to bitcoin.

Now I have a psych agreeing with me that another person is a psycho Smiley))))))

well not a psycho, just someone who suffers from a mental illness, which when uncontrolled can lead to severe social dysfunction, as we saw some months ago. The main problem with Bipolar disorder is that the sufferer frequently lacks insight into their condition, which makes treatment even harder.

no doubt triggered by losing a large number of bitcoins.

be wary of the bipolar trading advice.

I tried elsewhere with no result, so can someone here explain how this can happen -> https://blockchain.info/da/address/1CMMBYkiB3AVXbysaYuFEepSJTVRggFaNm

A friend sent 0.9 BTC to my brain wallet by scanning the QR code in my Blockchain wallet app. Exactly 10 sec later a transaction is made from my brain wallet to an address I cannot identify. As if it automatically forwarded the BTC's. What the heck can I do? It's quite a lot of money just laying on some random address now..

Brainwallet? If you have a easy password , it might be a bot who scans those addresses.
Also , low chance of getting them back.

Oh wait, bummer. It is not a brain wallet. For some reason I labelled the address "Brain Wallet" a long time ago, but it is not. It's a completely normal address in my wallet. So it does not have a specific password that differs from the rest of the addresses in my wallet, which still holds bitcoins. Only makes it weirder.

If we remove the possibility of collision , I'm afraid I have no clue on this.
You should post in the technical section ....edit - you did that.

Just sent 0.0001 to the same address to check if it would still automatically forward to the other address. It didn't: https://blockchain.info/da/address/1CMMBYkiB3AVXbysaYuFEepSJTVRggFaNm.

Well, 0.0001 is the tx fee so it's reasonable that a bot would wait for a larger sum to sweep the address.

Is there any way your wallet.dat may have been compromised?

Theres always a chance I guess, but I don't understand why the other addresses in the wallet hasn't been swept then. So that wouldn't make sense IMO.

An excellent movie of someone who suffers from this condition is Mr. Jones starring Richard Gere.

Of course, totally not related to bitcoins, but movie is so good in my opinion, worth sharing.
