Zen
It stopped working for me
Yeah, shit is getting that hectic... Meditation is beginning to fail me and not helping for productively contextualizing the realities of life.
The human condition is a huge sack of shit.
I sorta-kinda joke (not really?), but I'm truly wondering if skirting with pure nihilism at this point in my life.
Not healthy and recognized I needed help.
Look at the bright side. You still have your garden and you chickens.
You should build more green houses and equip them with home made mechanisms to work automatically.
*edit(): "Bob The Farmer" it doesn't sound so bad, You can write a book about it.
"Save the Rain Forest, the fucktwat" as a book title, has a nice ring to it, too.
Prepair for a soul crushing weekend dump.
Is it confirmed?
If not, I am going to take such propositionening with a decently-sized grain of salt.
Two weeks minimum, with minimal touching points to the stupid space rock population, in a comfy place, for example a cottage in the lower mountains.
Chicken/Egg problem: This ranch is where we want to get away to. The barn isn't even up yet a year into this project. Still unresolved drainage issues due to 100 year flood-plain area (and these guys are top-notch engineers?). Barn slated to go up in the next couple weeks - finally...
Had to fire the main subcontractor overseeing the project. Very frustrating times. Set us back a bit further.
Just gotta do what I can to shamble from one day to the next without blowing my brains out at this point.
Case in point.. seems to be that it can be quite stressful to set yourself up with a stress free life..... hahahahaha
Probably good to get started early.. in such settening up.
I am not even unsympathetic... some things are not easy to delegate.. and then some people are trying to (or even assuming) that you are going to be helping (lending a helping hand) on x, y or z project that they have going on, too.. and if you don't then when you need them to help, they may well not be available.. without even saying.
Oh, another thing could be having an accountant to handle some matters.. but how much can be or should be delegated in terms of how much money to pull from this source or that sources and then to rebalance (reallocate), and which persons know which funds are available for what... Oh, here use money from this agreed upon account, but then you are moving money back and forth from that account, too.
The other day, I had a bill coming due, but I did not have enough in my paying account to cover it, so about 10 days early I had requested a transfer to that paying account, and so I had presumed that it had gone through by the time that I went to pay the bill.. and whoops.. for some reason it was not even processed... what did I do? fail to click confirm? up until now, I do not know, but I was sweating bullets for a short-period out of concerns that I might not have enough time to do it again..
And a bit more stress than necessary over what I had thought was a basic matter, and surely sometimes there is not enough money in varying accounts, so the transfers have to be combined.. including the anticipation of some future bills or deposits coming in.. or even accounting for whether there might be some advantages in spreading the payments or just lumpsum paying the whole thing... Can or should these decisions be delegated? and what are the costs/benefits of delegating some of them? How much money do you want to give access to certain persons who might have certain differences in styles and even the way they account for projecting matters and are they going to get you in a pickle because of their own possible short-comings?
