How does Tether (USDT) have almost 100K billion?? Who and how are creating them??  Shocked  Shocked ... Does "BrrrrRRRrrrr" owns it??  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

There is a fair amount of information on this subject. The most important thing to draw from it is that there is no 3rd party that has safely audited their books for at least 6 months. The main excuse given is that Tether cannot spare their main developer to explain to the auditors how they "secure" the "reserves". Tether only has 13 30 employees, the fewer the easier it is to keep their mouths shut.

Current Price : $34633

Fear and Greed Index : Extreme Fear

But those who know about the reality don't fear much as best time to invest is when there is blood on roads

I would say our WO gang should invest some amounts in it to show some support to keep up some resistance levels even if you could put $10 just go on and show some support guys....

Bitcoin is the currency of the Internet:

A distributed, worldwide, decentralized digital money. Unlike traditional currencies such as dollars, bitcoin is issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever: there is no government, company or bank in charge of Bitcoin.

As such, it is resistant to inflation, corrupt banks and self serving govts. It cannot be turned off. It cannot be corrupted. Govts cannot take it from you. Bitcoin has the capability to replace all currencies and last for a thousand years or until something better comes along.

I think we call this 'Preaching to the choir'.

When we go sub $30k, who sold at the bottom?  Cry

Who's our next Mindrust?

Dunno but there will be one or even a couple. Let’s face it though, most of us bought most of our stash a hell of a lot lower than this so for me and I’d assume the majority here, the fear is a lot lower than in previous cycles.
We can afford to let King BTC do what she does, without being crying bitches over it.

If we go to the moon I will be the happiest man alive but if we crash to below $30,000 & beyond I will buy as much of what I sold, back, at a 50% discount (minus capital gains taxes).

Happy fucking days, whichever way she goes.

Will be quite entertaining to see the next Mindrust. Although, I’ll probably not see it unfold live as I’ll be frantically checking buy orders & trying to send MOAR fiat to exchanges.

As you say LFC, It is a lot easier to stomach when you are already up several 1000%. Even though it still looks ugly It isn't as bad as if you got in on the way up before the last ATH and are now below your entry point.
For me, and many of us here, we can sit and watch the world burn in the knowledge that we have already benefited far more than what it originally cost us.
For my fellow bitcoiners who are new to the game my advice is to HODL strong and you will be handsomely rewarded (eventually!).

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
Who's our next Mindrust?

Was just thinking about him the other day.

I would hope the lot of us has matured more since then, and learned to embrace this volatility.

yeah

the only real time i pay any attention to price drops is when the suicide hotline posts get pinned over at r/bitcoin . then ill actually start reading around for any reasons for it. plus buy the cheap corn of course.

those were the days.. the "mindrust effect"  would hit the masses.. unfortunate for them.

Bitcoin is much more than fiat gains.
That's the mindset that helped me a lot dealing with volatility.
