Hi all, long time no log. Glad to see old and new ppl here.

I am mostly well, fugged up my knee in a minor car accident. Lost most of my BTC on an 'inside job' at a cloud provider. FBI does not seem to be very interested.

Gox should hopefully give me a pittance of what I once had.

Anybody hearing Babylon vibes...something something to 'mobilize' your btc?
I've got some 'spam' about it via email.

I know where it is all coming from-institutions seeking some yield: they would LOVE to get something that they don't necessarily have to share with the ETF holders.
That said: who needs yield when hodling gives (usually) so MUCH more.
Still..watch out...at some point the 'siren' song would become louder.

Well if the yield were in btc, I could discuss that. With proper guarantees of course.

(And no, buddy - sorry.)

I don't think that the "native" yield in bitcoin is possible, even theoretically.
Alex Machinsky (Celsius) kept talking about 'yield' and how he is "providing" it...everyone knows where it went.
Most likely they are talking about basically having a mechanism to algorithmically loan your bitcoin (via some kind of timestamping/locking), then bootstapping some altcoin function with that, but i don't want to go into details because to me it seems like a loser proposition.

You're never too old to think young.
the 60's I remember. Pollies were dropping left and right via shootings galore.

Mostly left... Kennedys, King, etc.
