He was in crypto since 2017. The police is investigating. They managed to "freeze" part of the coins that were stolen.

I'd tell the boy: "I'll give my private key to the one that knocks out the rest of you!"
Hitting the back of the head of the exhausted "winner" with the baseball bat that is hidden under my bed should be easy.

Seriously: That's why i neither speak about corn in the public, nor reveal any of the "$5 wrench"-countermeasures i have already taken.

Some scammer woman phoned me some years ago and had my name and asked if I was interested in Bitcoin.

At times like these I just play dumb and said no I'm not interested in bits of coins. I don't collect coins. I did do stamps as a teenager but not any more, sorry. Bye. Click.

AFAIR, every image manipulation software i worked with (general reference is imagemagick, tho), uses bitmap representations of compressed image formats to apply manipulation to. This is the reason photoshop and the likes prompt you for setting compression parameters on save of destructively edited JPG files, which is any operation beyond cropping.

Right. But this is on the device, was my understanding?

I have to look into the details, but imo it should be. Likely it's processing (truncated?) RAW data directly. This is the way i would do it.
Offering an uncompressed output format is manufacturers choice. It's still a consumer drone.
But it's showing me an important point in choosing my next one.

You've probably already watched this video. I wasn't aware of Autel Robotics until Bob mentioned the Autel Evo 2 Pro, and I like what I see so far.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro VS Autel Evo 2 Pro Drone Review // This quality is INSANE

I had a similar experience, but after digging the web in regards of what the Autel does not do well, i found a nasty bug regarding focusing and also buggy software on smartphones.

Also, the Autel should be compared to the Mavic 3, because the cmos sensor of the mavic 2 is a quarter of the size of the Autel's sensor.
Needless to say, the image quality is beyond comparison. Furthermore, the Autel weighs a lot more. This is OK in countries where drones are not mainly regulated by weight/power.
My decision tends strongly toward the Mavic 3 now.
I had a look at the Autel and dismissed it some months ago. I didn't remember why, but it must have been the focusing problem(s).

EDIT: To be precise, i decided for both. Mavic 3 from the store (next year), Autel Evo II Pro (6K for 1" sensor size) used from aftermarkets some time later.

Thanks for the info. So, it seems DJI is still the king...

I've never owned a drone, but would like to own one some day. I've flown a Parrot and a friend's DJI Phantom 3. The Parrot was exciting, the DJI was simply awesome (to my inexperienced eyes). The thing is, I'm worried that the excitement will quickly fade away after a few flights. I think it's important to have a practical purpose to fly these things, and not just for fun. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I haven't bought one yet.

All good things to those who wait
Some glassnode observations:

--------
Whenever price creates new highs, there are invariably traders who buy the top. These new investors are the first group tested by the next period of uncertainty, and nothing spells uncertainty like a flash sell-off in futures.

With cascading liquidations come spenders in loss, and last week's event set a recent high for Realized Losses on-chain. The sum of coins spent in loss for December 4 totalled $3 billion. Coming into Saturday, previous high marks were set on May 19 and June 25, with losses of $4.5B and $3.8B respectively.

So if older coins are not being spent in notable size, and exchanges are not seeing elevated activity, then where are spent coins coming from?

They're coming from Short Term Holders— investors who bought in the past few months, most of whom are spending at a loss.

Through our observations of the data, last week's sell-off was driven by liquidations in the futures market, and the various on-chain cohorts that make up Bitcoin's supply remain largely unfazed. Those who are spending coins appear to be predominantly those who bought the top, and they are realizing losses and capitulating.

High levels of leverage followed by price volatility is a classic recipe for a correction, and capitulative moments like Bitcoin just experienced are unfortunately needed for markets to return to a healthy equilibrium. The key question we will seek to answer in the coming weeks, is whether market sentiment has taken a severe enough hit that the underlying conviction seen this week deteriorates, or does it hold on.

Of course they won't be investigated.

If you or I would have organised a Bitcoin ATH or $25K party at the time we would have been jailed and the headline would have been:

"Dangerous crypto currency dealers from around the world who are members of an underground online gang called Wall Observer, are jailed for 6 months for organising dangerous cheese and wine rave with high class prostitutes in attendance during strict lockdown rules."
