Lol the people who don't understand the deflationary nature of BTC and sold are going to be bitter once this dip is quickly eaten up again... Nows the best time to buy I would say.

Or long, with badass leverage.
I'd go for 75x or even more.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
I used to love starflight/art of war and a ton of others I can't recall anymore. I remember being blown away when I found I could hack the palette on the cga.  And upgraded to evga just for warlords. Me and a buddy spent untold hours on warlords and I still to this day spark up a game of warlords 4. A few years ago we still had 4 guys playing warlords 4 pbem. I should get int ouch and get another game going. Smiley

Starflight was incredible, great story and a pretty fun game. Likewise I got Starcraft and spent a week solid playing it. As in I didn't bother to go to work, barely slept, etc.

When I got the first Everquest game I played it locally, then at the end of the adventure I was facing that big door with the button that said "Click here to join online". I thought about it, popped the CD, and tossed it in the trash. Because if I had played on my life would have been OVER.

Holt shit you almost described me exactly!

I never played a MMO because of that as well!

I had 8 systems setup 24/7 (4 upstairs and 4 in the basement)  and had people over or months on end only leaving to goto work playing starcraft and a few others (halflife/quake/Diablo).

*Forgot to mention I spent so much time trying to break that binary code before I found out I needed the translator in game to do it. I was doing all kinds of conversions on that shit! Also didn't realize until years later what those HotPYT's I kept finding were. Cheesy

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

Despite massive Dump yesterday, Bitcoin respected 20weeky Moving average. Bitcoin is in accumulation zone and hopefully it will again attempt to break 50K in coming days..

Note the unconventional cAPITALIZATION!
OK.  I will stop spamming... But just the last few MINUTES... this oughta tell you something...

My node is UTC Time... it's 23:41 right this moment...   I am processing like 3-4 payments a second at times!

On a cell phone processor...

LOOK:

SERIOUSLY!  THINK ABOUT IT!

At times my humble little RaspiBlitz based node is processing almost as many payments as the entire BITCOIN NETWORK. Wink  Lol.

One more thing...

For the time it has been active, my channel to Wallet of Satoshi has had ENORMOUS volume.

Two other things.

1.  Currently the amount of satoshis that = $30 is about 34k.  Most all of my recent transactions have been much higher or much lower than that.

2.  Now that we are officially on the world stage, how much do you think the powers that be are willing to spend to try to discredit, or harm bitcoin.

3.  How much does honey badger care?

Wait, that's not two...

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.

big oof.

Do you guys think this sell-off is result of giving 6.45 Million people $30 USD in BTC each? I would say the dump was a panic selling of the El Salvadorian people + panic selling of whales expecting the El Salvadorians to drag down the price (because out of a population of 6.45 Million people, most would obviously either fear crypto, not understand it and/or not wish to leave it unspent?)

If I was poor, living in a third world country and the government gave me free money if I
downloaded some strange app on my phone, damn straight I'd sell it right off the bat and get my familiar American fiat dollars to pay a bill or two.
I seem to recall doing something similar back in 2017 when there were numerous shitcoin airdrops.
Only difference was I converted it all to BTC (and some pms) rather than $fiat.

No worries, ateotd, in the BTC theater, its all just noise.

GO BITCOIN

To whomever is attacking the Lightning Network…

Thanks for helping make bitcoin more anti-fragile.

DDOS attack against lightning nodes and exchanges.
Smells even more fishy.

Very interesting.  Looking at my logs I am seeing no unusual activity on my busy little node.  And I might not be super important... but I am actually a "BOS" ranked node (https://fulmo.org/bos-score.html). According to Mr's Bosworth's calculation I am ranked as being (one of) the 100th most important node on the lightning network!!!  Daaah Daaaaaah!  I'd love to get down to the double digits of "important" nodes, but I just opened up a few new channels, and I think median (or average, not sure) channel age is part of his calculation.  So I shot myself in the foot there... though I did up my # of channels as well as my total BTC in channles.

And I can say this...  My node has processed HUNDREDS of transactions today.   And so far it is more than FIVE TIMES as many transactions as any previous day.

So either the DDOS involves spending money, OR a lot of Salvadorians are buying Big Macs today.

I tend to think it is the latter!  Particularly because a lot of the transaction have involved the Wallet of Satoshi node.  I wonder what node Chivo uses?  I bet Chivo is custodial... damn.  I need to open a BIG ASS channel to that thing...  Does anyone know?

I continue to charge NO FEES for any transaction I facilitate.

Fuck the IMF.

Fuck the Fed.

Yes spooks... fuck you too.
