Minor frustration: not being able to find a successful way of keeping the Dutch boards viable, in spite of several efforts and sincere attempts.

Just bribe them with an NFT of Dutch jewellery if they sign up to BTT and post on the local board once a week  Wink

Anyone wants to make a small (2mBTC) bet with me about the poll outcome? I'm putting my money on BTC hitting $50K first.

Just one more "liquidity injector" printing their own institutional tokens that will never be backed by actual bitcoins.

I am not sure this is the case. Bitcoin is hard money, no printing is possible, leveraged position must be funded.

Let’s keep it simple
When I buy a share of this mutual fund, ProFund buy a futures, the futures market maker buys a bitcoin.
Hence, no leverage, no printing, no dilution.

Damn, celebrating 4 year membership of this community! Time flies when you're having a ball (or two).

Could this be the right time to open a few threads in the Meta, Beginners and Reputation boards to teach people a few valuable lessons about my experience on the forum, and receive a million billion trillion Merits?

Fugg no.

You're honestly the kind of member who deserves to rank up and I'm not just saying that because of the hat. You're not even wearing a signature. So take my merits, now you're only 300 away from Legendary.

Thx for those Merits, guys - which was absolutely not the intention of my post: I haven't been in any sig campaign for a long time now, so if you've sent them purely as a token of real merit, I appreciate them all the more.

Since posting ^ I can't seem to resist reminiscing about these last years though, especially when I realized I've spent a major part of my spare time in this community.

The nutildah-III transfer is one of those numerous memorable moments from the last 4 years. Originally meant as a joke but (and maybe therefore) still worn with pride. Cool You do know that I still consider this to be the first NFT transfer ever on this forum, and I think it's about time we had a talk with the Guinness book of world records.... Grin

Another memory that pops into my mind spontaneously are the panic and controversy during the implication of the Merit system, at the end of 2017/beginning of 2018. Quite funny to look back at it now.

Watching several people on this forum (especially in this WO thread) realize their dreams thanks to their strong beliefs and support for BTC (some of you for almost a decade) has been a true and sincere heart-warming experience and I could feel and enjoy their excitement as well, even though we don't even know each other at all IRL.

Hodling has been my credo for a very long time now, too, although the peaks have sometimes made it a major challenge to resist the call of a quick selling... Professional obligations don't leave me time enough to really dive into analysis and trading, so the few times I tried to trade (with very modest amounts), have been highly stressful (and highly unsuccessful) experiences... Grin "Why would you sell if you don't need the money" was therefore a statement coming from this WO community, that was as simple as it was eye-opening. If I'm not mistaken, I haven't moved a single sat since.

Minor frustration: not being able to find a successful way of keeping the Dutch boards viable, in spite of several efforts and sincere attempts.

So there you have it. I wrote my life story after all. Shame on me. #homo

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
Quite an important news I would say:

Ah! Already opened a thread directly from the beach
First U.S. Bitcoin mutual fund launched by ProFunds

And yet another institutional scam to dilute scarcity that creates the value built into the system.

Quote
For now, the Bitcoin Strategy ProFund invests in Bitcoin futures contracts, and the fund holds no actual bitcoin, which creates two degrees of separation between investors and the sats they increasingly seek shelter from inflation in.

Just one more "liquidity injector" printing their own institutional tokens that will never be backed by actual bitcoins.

Being "stateless" would seem to be not a good idea. Pick one, if you can, or two and try to establish residence there, even if it's just on paper. You can always maintain a low profile and the state or country would not really care.

As for other exchanges, you could try txbit.io.

I am German citizen, currently stay in Turkey and when this thing is over, continue to travel the world. With stateless I meant I am not registered anywhere.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions @all.

Quote: Italian Stallion Cheesy

Its a very old saying for a Italian Man with a BIG Penis. Just for those who do not know..

Hence he is dragging it with him on the ground while walking as vapourminer mentioned Cheesy

It is usually pointing the other direction, and not dragging in the sand.
But even if I like posting on WO, I don’t like it THAT much.

I wonder if there is any DEX that is safe and allows Derivatives or Future trading with a good leverage?  Roll Eyes

I guess not.
At least with good liquidity.
But happy to be proven wrong on this.
CEX are too good for the moment for DEX to really pick up.
Maybe with a tightening of KYC/AML constraint we will see dex rise..

Since we are here:
I am less active on the forum for a reason:

This is a secret location.

I decided to use the compulsory WO hand sign, as the classic Italian stallion sign is less known:

Edit: hint it’s not a tail.
