I still think for the price, the i7-14700F is the better chip. It doesn't seem to be involved in the misreoresentation-gate either but I'm still researching.

Could be. I built my main PC back in late 2022, and at the time I had the choice of the i9-13900K (on a dying socket) vs. AMD's fresh offerings (on a brand new, future-proof socket). For some reason I chose Intel (I own a high-end 3D scanner, and they recommend Intel CPUs, but somehow I don't really think it would have made much of a difference). I don't know, but I have a bittersweet feeling about my choice. Maybe I should have opted for AMD. Also, I'm not very fond of the two different types of cores (8 Performance + 16 Efficient) in the i9-13900K. The i7-14700F also has the same two types of cores and sits on the same dying socket. OTOH, AMD's cores are all identical and equivalent. Not sure which approach is better, but somehow I have the feeling that Intel is trying hard to artificially boost their specs.
I haven't really looked into it since early 2023, but a quick Googling shows that the Ryzen 7 7800X3D or Ryzen 9 7950X3D could be good choices today.

We all know that official inflation numbers are pure fantasy. But even when using these we need to hit around 80K for a new ATH.

So let's assume this cycle high will be just double the 69k from last cycle... that means we top at 217k ! (69k x 2 x 1.12^4 = 217k)
But again 12% is probably too conservative, as is to assume just a doubling.
With a tripling of 69k we top at 325k.
Just something to think about to all of you planning to sell when we cross 100k.
Your analysis might be correct or slightly inaccurate but at most we can speculate that we must surely get above 100k value in Bitcoin. At most our expectations should be something double of our last ATH, base on speculation from past occurrences or it might even be more than we expect. The climax of it all is that those who will take the opportunity to hold for that long period must surely get more profits than those who sold earlier on little profits. I looked into the Ryzen7-7800X3D only because it's more available than the i7-14700F but it's only ~$30 cheaper but it's ~twice the wattage and nearly 25% slower. I can't get an i7-14700F anywhere near me right now that isn't already in a machine.
Please look at realistic test results, because Ryzen performs not as good as Ix in the labs, but since multiple cpu vulnerabilities in intels microprocessors are patched at bios and OS level, the intels often perform worse in real world usecases.
