what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
hope you caught the brief 34k raja to secure some profit  Wink

you old fellas have eagle eyes.. and diamond hands... for me i'm never able to guess the bottom.... for me $41k was the bottom Sad

had a buy order at $33.6k USD pop and manually did a buy at 31.5. still have a couple buys set at around 30.5 and 28.8k, hafta reload if those go off.

not gonna lie this dip is pretty impressive for ants. and i remember being a noob in 2011-2012 and watching my btc fiat value drop like 80% soon after i found bitcoin and started mining. doesnt bother me anymore but back then? heh wasnt really a lot but it wasnt a good 1st impression lol. as someone mentioned watching new folks panicking.. well i cant say its entertaining per se but i kinda have to smile here and there at some comments.

so for you noobs: welcome to the fucking show. now relax and watch honey badger do whatever it feels like.

what clearly comes into my mind is with that absolute figures of price swings the average Joe is not able to handle it anymore because it's above the monthly wage of the most. the result is pure panic of small investors if the price is going down instead of going up.

that's what i was saying the other day and got trashed for it, of course  Roll Eyes

I am still optimistic that we will see a strong pull back between 32 and 30K and currently ongoing Dump should come to an end now. , As we can see price is creating higher low and creating new trendline that is mentioned on chart if we get conformation of rise that is creating higher high here then we may expect some rise for bitcoin.

who trashed you? a plebs? trash him back.  Grin

I deal with this as pure numbers. This way, it is less emotional.
I got my job, a house, a relatively new beemer, did not buy anything on top (my mining "buys" at around 14-16K now, give or take).
I can retrench even more and stack sats for quite a while.

maybe in retrospective we'll remember on that Elon moment like on the Hash War in autumn 2018.

yes, if you plot retracement for a move, but then, why not starting from 3.1K instead? If retracement just from the top number, then it is more like $24790 for 61.8% fib.
Albeit, maybe you are more "right" and if counting from 3.1K, I am getting 26706, however, it is all a small argument (26.7 vs 27.2).
Clearly, 61.8% Fib (whichever you count, it is somewhere between ~25K and 27K). I will be watching those numbers, it it ever comes to that.

can't remember the deepest low after the bull run of 2017. if it was 3.1K then I also would prefer this low instead. you're right. we will see.

Looking for a double bottom there?

from March 2020 low at $3850 to April 2021 high at $64895 retracement of 61.8% is $27169 and retracement of 38.2% is $41576. we still have space to area of $27169 and area of $41576 is a strong resistance.

maybe we'll stay some time somewhere between for a while.

EDIT: page count is just 28850. looking for someone to blame on. Roll Eyes

EDIT2: as you can see the absolute figures of changes of one bitcoin in USD are not in the region of the usual working class anymore. therefore the usual plebs can't handle that price jumps in absolute figures. sad.

I'm the kind of geek who could have bought a 3D printer 10 years ago but I just can't think of a use for it. Probably because I have limited space for now so no room for plastic stuff.

Could print some BTC coins I guess !

If they could print metal (well some can, but at crazy prices) then that would be another story.

"Bitcoin is an experimental digital currency"??

experimental??? still? It's been 12 years.... why it's still experimental?

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/

maybe because it hasn't evolved a bit since then and the average Joe can't grasp it preventing it to reach mainstream
But i get it security wise there's no doubt it has proven it is secure ans solid

usdt and stablecoins are the future  Cheesy

3rd on marketcap, highest volume, doesn't compensate inflation tho but it doesn't lose 60% from one day to another. I mean one day you can buy a lambo the next a lada Smiley

I'm thinking of buying a 3D printer, and I'm looking at the Anycubic Photon Mono, a resin printer, and maybe a Creality3D Ender-3 V2 for prints that don't need fine details.

I will mostly be printing stuff for model railways in H0 (1:87) scale so the resin printer will be for the small fine detail stuff and the other one for the rest.

They both seems to have good reviews and a reasonable price, do you guys have any comments or experience on these machines that you could kindly share?

Get yourself a fume hood if you go with resin - the smell can be unbearable.
