You're never too old to think young.
Bring back Chartbuddy.
It was the first thing I checked
On Wall Observer.

The important point
Of Wall Observer is not price
It's bid and ask walls.

Chartbuddy was great
For seeing the ebbs and flows
Of buy and sell walls.

With only a glance
You could see how market moves
Happened at the time.

So please Richy_T
Please do us a big favor.

I need the room for parts! House is too full with mining parts.

Nice, I like the design, about the same prices as here, I'm in the same situation, my house is full of stuff, need somewhere to store it.

I'd recommend getting rid of some of your stuff instead (or as well). If you can't fit all of your stuff into your house, it might suggest that you have too much stuff (although I confess to having no knowledge of your personal situation). I moved abroad and then back again a long time ago and on each move I got rid of about half of my possessions. I'm by no means a minimalist but it's incredibly liberating to only possess those things which you need or which have real meaning or use value. It's crazy that the rental of storage space is a multi-billion dollar industry, fuelled mainly by people's unwillingness to part with superfluous possessions.

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
I certainly haven't spent 8000 hours on this. I hardly paid the whole thing any attention over the past year instead focusing on the likelihood that the government was full of lies and that industries like the cruise ship industry would collapse due to the whole "2 weeks to flatten the curve" being a lie. So I spent my time planning on buying a cruise ship at scrap prices.

That's really not a bad idea. The window for cheap Soviet subs closed a long time ago, sometimes I wish I had gone in on one.....

Right, let the guy think you're an extravagant billionaire who spends 30k for a set of towels. You're guaranteed to get the guy's best offer.

*snort* "What???" "Sorry, just thinking. What kind of finance options do you have...."

Still, we did spend what now would be a lot of money on things. However no real regrets other than buying some gold bullion for btc to "diversify" at the 2k btc mark. Thank God I quit that job next to the coin dealer who took bitcoins or I would really be so completely fooked.

As for bargaining, I'm always cautious to do that on contractor work. I want the best job possible with no corner cutting, and I have found a fair price gets me an extra nice job that I don't have to worry about. So I might knock them down 10% or so or check to see what the profit margin is on the job. But no, I don't haggle down to the quarter, then I just get a job.

What was the saying: "Always leave a bit extra on the table. You then have a happy deal"

An indirect argument could be made: Any government, even if malevolent, likely would like some subjects to, erm, govern.

^(@Elwar) let me just say that reading something on the internet does not mean that you are truly educated on a particular topic.
It could be, but show me your 8000 expertise hours and I will show you mine.
Usually, I stay away from commenting on the details of the topics where I know little about.
For example, electrical engineering, networking, computer science, etc.
Having said that, I know biology (mol biology, genetics, immunology, etc).
From this perspective, mRNA (more correctly modRNA) vaccines look solid.
These are not made with regular mRNA, but utilize some modified nucleosides which has at least two benefits:
1. Drastically less immune response to RNA portion
2. Increased protein production

https://www.the-scientist.com/news-opinion/the-promise-of-mrna-vaccines-68202

In addition, delivery is in lipid micelles, which basically protect RNA until the cell uptake. Once RNA is in the cell, it is not exposed to the immune system.

I would have to research whether they also implemented a block for reverse transcription as it is more subtle, albeit it is more of a theoretical possibility.
Interestingly, there are articles indicating that SARS2 is sometimes integrated into genome ( a higher possibility in HIV infected people, maybe).
https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.12.12.422516v1

Both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are not self-amplifying, but newer (in testing) vaccines are. I would prefer not to have those.

Just like I didn't spend hours going through Bitcoin's source code even though I'm a software engineer but I know it is the solution to the horrible governments destroying government currency.
I would say it's more like 8000 hours of expertise in the government overstepping their power at every opportunity as opposed to any sort of knowledge of vaccines. I don't see how "this time they're looking out for us". If there is some evidence out there that the government has somehow suddenly become benevolent then I'm all ears.

Nice.  I am getting 2 sheds to replace the 28 year old 1 shed I have. I will be losing 96 sq ft of space and gaining 112+ 112 = 224 square feet of space

Interesting. I have a 120+ year old 12*16 shed I'm putting 240@40a in tomorrow. Partially for miners, partially for heavy equipment. However I really want a garage on my driveway for the car with a lift. Getting tired of laying on my back under it, any suggestions?

Guy came by to discuss stabilizing the house foundation: $30k. I looked at him and said "so, about as much as a set of towels". (don't think I need it now, the house has not moved in 20+ years but still, good to know the cost)

Nice Congrats  Grin Grin Grin
Bought me a new candy also  Cool

GR Yaris? Nice, how is it? I've heard they're fucking rockets! Nearly bought one but just didn't; waiting on the 400Z

Nice, how much is it? (just the building).

1 building with the  roof gable windows side door and 2 front windows = 4400 usd.

I will prep a 3/4 blue stone gravel pad to drop in the shed. The pad with my labor is about

400 = stone
240 = pressure wood to hold stone
60 = landscape fabric under stone.
700

so 5100 with gravel bed and building.

10,200 for 2 of them.

They are pretty good looking they will match  each other and complement the house siding.

With covid-19 town now allows 2 sheds up to 120 sq ft each. My gate will allow an 8 by 14 shed to fit in
so it is a better deal to get 8 by 14

Is there only me who is thinking that the BTC direction (up or down) and the "end" of the 60K$ battle will appear with the Coinbase's IPO next wednesday ?  Roll Eyes

You are not alone, I also think that Coinbase IPO is a Mega event and it will be deciding factor for the direction of Bitcoin. Lips sealed

Yes and when covid 23 comes out killing all those without this vaccine your safe move looks bad.

Not saying that is a plan. But if you are a villain looking to Knock off a lot of people you would prefer to knock off clever freedom fighters like yourself and keep the sheeple a round since they already follow orders.

To me this is the best reason to get this vaccine.

Of course I could be completely wrong and your move is the smart move.

This is what I was wondering early on in this whole thing. When they roll out the vaccines how do they choose between the elite who live and the lowly scum that die. When brainstorming this with a friend we wondered if there would be separate vaccines but that would likely require too much coordination and thus leakage of information.

It doesn't really make sense to have a deadly vaccine that is given to everyone who supports the state, leaving only those that don't trust the state. So, unless Bill Gates is a closet libertarian that's been playing the long game for decades it just wouldn't work. My only thought is that they assumed that everyone would get the vaccine and they didn't consider that their propaganda wouldn't be believed. The military is going door to door in some locations vaccinating people so it makes sense that they thought that they would vaccinate everyone.

Reading more into the actual mRNA drug it appears that it may just be profit driven. Get everyone to trust the mRNA medicine which actually does have the possibility of being a miracle drug which cures disease, cancer and anything else. This makes a lot more sense. A lot of very rich and powerful have invested heavily into this technology and they need it to work. How better to prove it works than to inoculate people against a disease that kills only .002% of people (while claiming it kills billions), ramp down the PCR test threshold and voila...success! A lot of rich people get a lot richer and they can move forward with their new drug with full public confidence.

Which would mean that it really doesn't matter if you take the vaccine or not. They just need people to believe that the vaccine is what stopped COVID.

The way the propaganda was framed early on I think they had planned on having the vaccines ready last year. But they ran into trouble so this whole "pandemic" has been drawn out soooo looonggg...It feels like chatting with one of those random scammers online and you know they're a scammer but they're not getting to the "send money to me part" so you have to go through their whole game to finally get to find out what their scam is (if you're bored enough to keep talking to them). You know it's a scam, they know it's a scam but it's just taking much longer than necessary. There's really no point in calling out their scam because they have plenty of experience in scamming that they'll have an answer for anything you throw at them. So you just wait and wait, playing along. Some people got tired of playing along, protesting and such but nobody really cares. They were ready for that...calling those people extremists or whichever.

Either way, I'm glad it's finally almost over. The end goal of getting the vaccine out there is happening so they'll make their money and we can all move on with our lives.

For anyone on the fence or curious regarding the gene therapy injections, this article may be helpful.  https://www.deconstructingconventional.com/post/18-reason-i-won-t-be-getting-a-covid-vaccine

Quote
#10: PEOPLE ARE CATCHING COVID AFTER BEING FULLY VACCINATED
You are vaccinated does not mean that you are immune 100%. No vaccine can immune you 100%. A vaccine just stimulate the production of antibodies for the particular diseases or group of diseases. It's said that once you have chickenpox then you will not have it any more but there are people who had it more than once, the danger is lesser after your body had antibody.

With corona vaccine no matter which company is producing it as long as they are tested and approved one should be taking it. You may get the virus and feel sick even after taking the vaccine but the risk of losing your life become very low if you take the vaccine.

Grouping and calling it a 'vaccine' like its the same tech we've been issuing for decades is dangerously misleading. Even Moderna didn't call it a vaccine and labeled it as gene therapy until 2019.

Animal trials were skipped and human trials conclude in 2023, perhaps a revisit of the "tested and approved" argument then?

Forgive me for my scepticism, like many others, I'll be part of the non vaccinated control group for this great experiment while encouraging critical thinking.

I don't claim to 'know' any more than the next on how this turns out in the long run but this fact remains:
Accepting this injection into your body requires TRUST in big pharma, the WHO, CDC, bio companies with poor or no track records and your local gov.
Years of serfdom and Bitcoin continue to teach a thing or 2 about trust.  Roll Eyes

Getting an injection for a variant not yet discovered sounds ridiculous to me but I will accept my shame of misguidance should that hypothetical situation occur.  Then the reverse hypothetical is also valid: The immune systems of those who are injected will release a cytokine storm upon exposure to the live virus which will kill them.

If I were a villain trying to knock off a big swaths of population I'd target the old and unproductive first while sterilizing the young and able-bodied to ensure it's success.   Targeting freedom fighters is an inferior whack-a-mole job.
Seeing as most 'old people' have pre-existing co-morbidities, fear will be the easiest tool in guiding them to the safety of 'vaccines' while the youthful and ignorant follow out of compliance, social pressures and mandates.

I know you're doing only what you have determined best for yourself and family, like myself and that's commendable by any standard.  Let's hope neither of these scenarios come to pass and we can get back to focusing on the real source of the pain, USD lies.

Getting a partial coverage (from current vaccines) for future variants is a much more solid idea than hypothetical cytokine storm ramblings.
