It had better be one helluva good sammie.  A body needs over 600 kcals to replace a pint of blood.
One of you bitcoin bazillionaires will have to set up a soup kitchen/bitcoin re-education center.

Any Subway footlong for no more than 0.0002 BTC delivered should cover that.

I'm not even bothering with WOsMeriting ATM. That fucker theymos already introduced much too much emission inflation with this devilish craze.

One curiosity that I have regards a couple of my previously owned NFTs (of me) that are currently listed "for sale," and I was pretty sure that I was only issued 7 NFTs, and they were numbered/labelled I to VII.., so currently, as I type this post, why are there two NFT's that are for sale with my name that are numbered/labelled VII? (you can see the ones for sale, here) Seems strange to me.

My guess? As part of his fNFT lesson, theymos decided to fuck up with emission.

Dumping all by BTC bags and converting to XRP.

See you later, losers.

EDIT: I try to collect the most worthless fNFT's. So far i got Bossian, who else can you recommend? Still, DOGE worked, so...  Grin

Yeah..

So it seems to me that if Bossian fNFTs are for sale, then it shows that he is still active in the sense that he has to put his forum issued NFT(s) up for sale.. so after you purchase it, you can decide whether or not to put it up for sale or try to flip it.

I will say that in respect to my own forum issued NFTs, mistakes were made in terms of what I did with that information... and how I acted upon it.. but whatevers, it is just for funzies anyhow..

As for your equation, just by looking at it I'm guessing that it's an infinite product approximation of something that roughly behaves like sinc(x) = sin(x)/x, and is also shifted by Pi/2 on the x-axis.

it has the property

f(x) f(-x) = \frac{\sin x}{x}

A few points about your proposal:

1) That would be a pretty crazy rule to likely stifle creativity (and likely contributions, too).. It probably would cost more than it benefits, especially when there are easier solutions, such as ignore, skim and perhaps other solutions too.

2) Your proposal does seem to presume that there is a cost to long posts that outweigh their benefits.

3) relatively speaking, you are a pretty (not in a cute way) newbie in these here parts to be making such broad and sweeping proposals - and sure anyone does have rights to make any kinds of stupid-ass proposals to his/her likenings, and perhaps you are making such proposals in jest or a kind of provoking kind of funzies (trolling?), way.  perhaps?  perhaps?

Of course I'm newbie in bitcointalk and bitcoin community overall... and I accept this and no offense to the mighty seniors.

Btw I do enjoy your and nullius post and I spare time to read your long posts.

Any way it wasn't a proposal but...

..infofront, please lock; it is over.
Is this "stupid-ass" proposal too?

Fair enough, shahzadafzal-daffodil.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Frequently, there are "stupid-ass" proposals coming from all kinds of member angles, not limited to and including yours truly.

So, I am glad that you did not get too worked up about my response to your brainstormenings about such lengthenings of posts.

Surely in regards to length and quantity of posts, you have ultimate discretion regarding the extent to which you might skim or skip them including deciding which members to read and which ones to skip or skim in terms of your perception of their babbling tendencies, and I have even mentioned on numerous occasions, when I fall behind, I might ONLY look at the posts that have interesting pictures, and likely other guys have their own ways and methods of involving their lil selfies in the thread including skipping pages completely....

If any one peep falls behind 30, 50, 100 or even 500 or more pages (which may be around a couple of months of posts), it can become quite a daunting task to trying to get through some of those backlog of pages in any kind of substantive way.

Some folks here might recall a couple of years Friends1980 made a pie in the sky assertion that he had planned to read the whole thread from the beginning.. blah blah blah.., and sure he might have read the first 100 to 1000 and maybe even skimmed through several pages before he completely abandoned such project with reluctances to ever mention his "stupid-ass" proposal that ONLY involved his own conduct rather than asserting how the thread should be carried out in the future, blah blah blah...  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Without a legal link into physical objects, NFT are mostly useless IMO. Which doesn't mean they can't be traded, as anyone who's been following shitcoins understands.

Yes, many things can be traded. The question is whether the trade creates or destroys value. For NFTs, I'd suggest the latter. Though I suppose some might get short-term entertainment value from these things, many believe they are the "next big thing". Just look at how many believe that $68M for an NFT is real and not bullshit.

Been thinking about selling the equation in my avatar ... how do I collect royalties if someone invents something incredibly lucrative using it?

You'd need to fix the last bracket, otherwise no respected equation connoisseur will buy it.

I would rather fix the first bracket (after the product), so as to be consistent with the size of the object inside the bracket pair... But, surely, even fixing the last bracket is a step in the right direction, and adds the necessary symmetry to the pair.

You have an eye for detail, Phil_S. I'm impressed.

An issue of the \large vs. \Large thingy?

Wow, more (LA)TEX fans... Nice!

I think math mode should automatically take care of bracket sizes, and in an optimal way.

Not exactly. I don't remember the details (and I can't be arsed to check honestly), but the TeXbook says something to the effect that default auto sizes for delimiters tend to be a bit too large, and spaced a bit too widely. I doubt LaTeX improves on that, as the low-level formatting is mostly left as it is in Plain TeX.

... So if you want to choose your own bracket geometries that's fine but you'll have to start by discovering your own fucking equations

How about posting a larger version? I might be able to make out something beyond the bracket size.

EDIT
Wow, AlcoHoDL managed to not only read it, but also make an informed guess at it. I'm in awe.

... it's ok to critique on style when your intellect doesnt allow for critiquing on content

... but I'm quite happy with bracket asymmetry thanx, taking creative licence on this point

Why not take care of both style and content?

I don't get the new NFT thing.

It's a digital certificate that says, "I own thing X". You can then sell/transfer that digital certificate to someone else.

Worse, it's a digital certificate which says "I own this digital certificate". It confers no rights or benefits to the work it is generated from whatsoever.

Without a legal link into physical objects, NFT are mostly useless IMO. Which doesn't mean they can't be traded, as anyone who's been following shitcoins understands.

I think theymos designed just the right new site layout in this particular day. A lesson, a sign of the thymes.

Apologies. On my iPhone and in Chrome it seems to scale ok for me and I don't see side scrolling at all.
Was struggling with legibility of some of the boxes if smaller.
I've changed them to 550. Better?

Won't be posting much of these.

For that I will suggest always set the height parameter of the image only, width will adjust automatically.
