ATH next week I reckon  Cool

Sometimes I look at planB  S2F chart predicting $5mil/btc in 2025.
https://twitter.com/100trillionUSD/status/1375483627090419716

That would be absolutely wild, wouldn't it?
I cannot comprehend the meaning of that number (~100X from here).

It will go up much higher, hench 100trillionUSD. Model ends after corn captured real estate, it's unknown territory after that.

1 full coin is basically enough to retire at that time but WO'rs will hodl more than just 1. Cool

actually, $5mil per btc is that 100tril  Grin
5000000X21000000=105000000000000 or 105X10^12 or 105 tril, but who is counting

but please tell me our $100k yacht party is still on right???

Bitcoin already did 100x several times - yeah maybe there is some backing up involved.. but still

If you consider this particular cycle we already got 10x (depending on where you establish the starting point for the run)... I am think that around $4k is a fair starting point for this run.. and around $250 is fair for the 2017 run and probably something around $5 to $10 might be fair for the 2013 run(s).

By the way, considering this particular run to have legs to go to either $100k-ish (quite bearish) or maybe as far as $1.5 million (a bit overly bullish), the depending upon where the top of this price run actually lands will give us some ideas about what might be reasonable for the next run.. and if we end up on the low end of the range then $5million seems a bit of a stretch at 50x from there.. but if we end up at the top end of the range, then 3x would not seem so BIG of a price rise..

Don't count your eggs before they are hatched, but don't discount another 1 or two more 100x price appreciations to be totally unreasonable.. though it does seem harder to have as BIG of multiples when we have already come so far in already having had experienced several of those 100x runs.

Just a quick one before HODLsleep - To the guys talking about potential divorces & 50/50 stash splits with the ball & chain, have you never heard of boating accidents? They happen to us bitcoin’ers quite often Wink

The last one that happened to me was weird. I lost all my bitcoins.

I lost around 40% of mine when that happened to me.

Without giving away too much opsec (or even too many private particulars), fillippone, it might not be a bad idea to give us a few more details about what you mean about some of the history covered in your post, exactly.

So for example, if you heard about bitcoin at x time or y price, then what did you do?  Did you buy a little and then get distracted by shitcoins?  Did you become more bullish about bitcoin later?  Sure many of us might have some regrets about having inadequate earlier plans that we had to bolster later.. but then if you created some kind of accumulation goal, are you anywhere close to reaching it, and sure, of course, BTC's price movement can cause some changes in the accumulation goal plans and to cause some of us to consider that we had reached our goal before we thought that we would.

All the information I feel safe to disclose to you guys can be found in my interview.
Tought you alread read that one!

I did read that post around the time that you posted it in August 2020.. but for some strange reason, I had not retained it, and it does not really address some of my questions.. but whatever.. you can choose when and how much to share.. and if.

I do tend to repeat some of my information multiple times, and probably not everything that I post is completely consistent.. so I suppose it depends on feelings at the time in terms of what to post, including how much whether to be responsive to questions and surely some details can be necessary to obscure for either privacy or opsec reasons.

The other day, in real life, I was told that I was stubborn and cruel, and really I thought that I was being more than reasonable and even charitable given the actual circumstances.  Another aspect was an attempt to bargain, and I believe that I was open to bargain, compromise and negotiation for a few days, but sometimes if things go a bit too far, the negotiations have to get cut off.. and maybe there have been some bitcoiner qualities (or would it be options?) coming out of me and my behaviors?

Off-topic movie recommendation: Tonight I will be watching The Wizard of Lies (2017), the fall of Bernie Madoff, whose Ponzi scheme robbed $65 billion from unsuspecting victims—the largest fraud in U.S. history.

I don't know if the movie is good, but today I spent the entire day researching the story, and I found it absolutely fascinating. I find Robert De Niro's choice as Bernie Madoff to be excellent, and very fitting for the role. Should be a great watch.

Watching it now, thanks. I knew some people hurt by this. Always love De Niro.
