Observing 56999. 57025. 57095. 57143 ... bah.. nevermind, NGU.

TOP DEFINITION
NgU
Acronym for “Number go Up”. This is the technology employed by Bitcoin (orange coin) to make everyone, who understands freedom money, rich as fuck.
The fact that the federal reserve literally prints USD at an exponential pace, while bitcoin has a capped supply of 21 million equals NgU!

Oh my! Where in the world they find these shitty TAs? What is that they'll find in a BTC graph next? A dick pointing down as a bearish sign?  Grin

BTC going up as a bearish sign. Smiley

I hate when that happens.    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

NOT..

Funny thing when I was engaging in a bit of a family group text and bitcoin came up as a topic, and when I went into a bit of a short-handed speil, my sister said:  "I don't even know what JJG just said."  So then I summed up what I had just said as:  "It's never too late to get started."  Not that I had not been saying pretty much the same thing since about $400 in late 2014 and similarly at $400 in early 2016.

Some no coiners either do not want to get it, or they are purposefully being stubborn and failing/refusing to recognize a paradigm-shifting phenomenon that is resulting in wealth transfers away from those unwilling or refusing to take even a small BTC stake.. because they cannot get over the fact that "it is really not too late, yet"..   All they can see is:  "its gotta go down sometime" even when it ends up NOT going down, they still read into the situation as if it is going to go down sooner or later and ignoring that there is UPpity in that picture too..

Speil is a German word for "splinter" - that's a genuine Freudian slip right there; it's even in his native tongue.   Sorry.  I would normally let these little typos go but I couldn't resist on this one.

Did know "Speil" only "Splitter" for "splinter" ... But every day you learn something new ...

"Splitter" is Swedish for "shrapnel", wich is kind of the same thing I guess, but a small piece of wood would be a "sticka"(in for example your finger), or in my local dialect, "spåga".

Well hello there 53K, long time no see.

first class example of a classical sashay, i love a good sashay.

almost now from a lost time of chivalry when seduction used to be more subtle, yet more sensual.

Is that a condom machine on the wall behind her? Wall Observers don’t use protection.

"she" was on the Gents toilet!  Shocked

In the spirit of International Women's Day (March 8th for those who may not know) I'm going to wade in on this.  While this ravishing porn star does demonstrate a fine example of sashay, she was not in the men's washroom and that is not a condom machine.  The device in the background is for dispensing feminine hygiene products; one side is for napkins (pads) and the other for tampons.  Now it's time for a good-ole bat-slapping:

Take that!

you got me!  Grin

but wait March 8th is at least Socialism if not Communism. Clara Zetkin and the other folks around her.

If you cross reference all of this criteria, you'll find that it narrows it down to about a half dozen states at most.

This is fun stuff. I would personally place a high value on a functioning government: The recent experience in Texas pointed out that you can have a wonderfully independent rancho apocalypse that insulates you from government stupidity however it puts you on a high value target list for your freezing and starving neighbors.

I prefer to live in an area where I don't have to evaluate my neighbors based on their caloric content. Mostly because that's a lot of un-needed stress.

I'm pretty sure the Texans didn't kill and eat each other during the blackout.

You are correct.  In fact most of us (who I know) helped each other with water, heat etc.  Texans are pissed about what happened, and it exposed issues in our infrastructure, systems, and government.  But we will fix it.  I am not a native Texan, but I have lived here long enough to appreciate who they (we) are.

My brother is in Texas, it was a bit of hot potato with the kids going to stay with whichever families had electricity/water. His house was one of the last to get it but he had one of his kids friends stay because he lived in a trailer park and they were having water issues.

I think anyone that can shop for what state they want to live in should also be able to be self sufficient for water and electric.

One curveball I'll throw out is that due to the pandemic people are fleeing the big cities leaving apartments and condos at extremely low prices. Just from an investment standpoint it may be wise to buy something downtown New York in the heart of tyranny. Maybe after Cuomo is thrown in jail he'll be replaced by someone slightly less bad and after a year with no more plandemic lockdowns the prices will go up as people realise that they miss being able to walk to the theater.

Our planet has seen no less than 4 or 5 ice ages. It will come again. They say the climate change will make everything melt too. Better be prepared to live at both extremes. I would personally find it nicer to live in a colder country as most homes can be easily insulated and heated.

Yeah, but shoveling the driveway and getting snowed in has a very limited entertainment value.

Snowblower on your tractor and a warm fireplace insert makes this a lovely weekend.

Normally I would mention here that the price action of bitcoin is interesting in light of the fairly light volume.

But I think we are seeing something different this time (tm).

We have used the large retail exchanges as price oracles for the entire lifespan of Bitcoin, and still do.  But is this where the actual volume is happening now?

I would say not.

That divergence is very interesting to think about.  I have speculated in the past about scenarios based on this new paradigm, for example:  If I were a big money player I would be buying BTC over the counter, and dumping a little bit of it on the low volume exchanges to depress the retail price as I buy.  But who knows what is actually happening?

I wonder if the high price is causing unit bias to suppress Joe Sixpack from buying?

I can;t quite figure out what is happening exactly, but it is exciting me... that much I know.

I'm looking at aggr.trade and it is indeed moving fast. That site looks at about 12 different centralized exchanges it seems and makes sounds for every buy or sell order above $100k USD, with $1m having louder chimes.

I treat "shoveling" as a minor form of exercise. Normally I'd do runs or barbell training, but shoveling gets some "work" done.
