Where I'm going to be then, I won't be able to post, so I sent 'em early... With brotherly love and kisses. Kiss

Someone's dream became true, not only true but it's now 3x true 🥳

Quote from: Almost 3 and 1/2 years ago
What will change my life is when 1 BTC > $10000. Then I will be gaining hundreds of thousands of $ (€ in my case). At that point (if we ever get there -- and I hope and believe we will), I will sell some (but not all) of my 15 BTC, enjoy my earnings, and still be in the Bitcoin rocket on its way to the moon. I do believe and speculate that this will happen and I expect this to take no longer than 10 years.

Thanks man for that reminder. It's so cool to see your dreams come true and even multiplied.

Away from PC, so no #homo color BBCodes.

Once more, Happy New Year All!

Man who stares at charts (and stars, too...)

- We still don't know if Super Covid effect vaccine effectioness.

Modern vaccines target the spike protein of the virus, which docks onto the target receptor (ACE-2 in the case of SARS-CoV-2).
So it's unlikely that vaccines cease to work on mutations.
However, antibody therapy would only work to some extent, because antibodies are way more specific to virus dns, while the spike protein is highly unlikely to change.

- Antartica is last continent on Earth reporting Covid-19 outbreak.

- Japan bans entry from all countries to block new strain's spread.

- More than 40 countries have suspended air traffic with the UK.

- More countries reporting Super Covid it goes slow due to restrictions but it is spreading.

- We still don't know if Super Covid effect vaccine effectioness.

- Millions of people have already been vaccinated with demo versions. (an icecold shiver rolls over my back.)

Stay save.

At $10k it looked too high to buy. There was no dip and it's 3x higher now. Another 10x increase from here doesn't sound so unbelievable.

The end game is $1m and higher. That's going to happen in the next 10 to 20 years. $100k to $500k is within the next 5 to 10 years, probably sooner. $50k is well within the next 5 years, again, probably sooner.

I read another article that mentioned $10m to $50m to $100m. That's probably at least 30 years away so it's not something I'm thinking about right now.

Out of all the BTC I have ever “bought” with $, 30% of it (in $) has been this year @ $16k..
I bought $50 worth on cashapp just for fun.. Heh..
I also bought $100 worth in 2017 to help someone out..

This year I also bought a couple miners to flip with $ and paid shipping in $ but sold them for BTC, so that’s kinda like buying a little BTC too I suppose in a round about way.. Made $60 profit..
I’ve done that a couple times but insignificant amounts..

Thinking about buying BTC now blows my mind..
I know it’s probably a good investment but with the prices now I have probably burnt thousands of $ worth of BTC when 100k sats meant nothing..
I’ve probably spent $20k at today’s prices just in exchange and TX fees..

That fact that the perception of the price "being too high to be worth buying" which is hard to resist even for us here, means that it will only still be very smart money buying at these levels.

Hard to believe but it is STILL early.

plenty of options.

An EMP would be the choice, but I like it messy. Cool

I always recall the slingshot I had as a kid, whenever I see a drone flying low on a beach.
Perhaps the coming summer I'll even buy one and carry it with me. Throwing stones manually at them does not work very well.

I didn't mention EMP, because i didn't know if it's even possible without nucular materials.
Once i read about DIY building an EMP from a microwave, but i thought that was a hoax. Also, afaik EMP spread spherical, so you would take out your own electric circuits as well. Certainly have to dig into that topic a little deeper.

I'm fed up shoveling show, it's the fourth day in a row now  Roll Eyes

Interesting year behind us, cannot wait for BTC to take its throne during the third decade of the third millenium AD. Maybe one day call 2009 year 0 AB

Either way happy nye everyone. Even if this ship goes down (it won't, it bounces to damn high off of the sea floor), it was a blast !

See the price dropping. Moved some FedBux into Gemini and placed a dip order for $250 @ $28,000.
Let's see what happens.

Huh. Order got filled. Feeling sassy and placing another degenerate dip order for $250 @ $28,250 and see if I get filled again.

I like getting filled with dip.

a wild bore

Oh I’m not saying that it isn’t worth buying..
It just looks like $100 is just dust, lol..

Actually I’m kicking around the idea of buying Bitcoin with all of my income like immediately when I get it and then just selling whatever BTC I need to cover my usual spending..

Put all of my checks into BTC, use a CC all month, and then just sell whatever I need to may my CC balance at the end of the month..

Those who were inclined to sell instead of hold will likely have sold to Fortress Investments or one of the other large companies who've been buying up claims at a massive discount over the last couple of years.

Andy Pag who was the organiser of Mt.Gox Legal sold has claim to one of those vulture companies. He had a claim for around 105 BTC, for which he received a mere $63,000.

Had he held, his claim today would be worth at least 15.75 BTC+BCH (~$454,000) plus a cash component worth around $46,000.

Side note, it's stated in one of the docs that the trustee will dump all other forks for cash. Wouldn't want to be jbreher right now!

Two weeks late, but I don't think this has been posted yet (sorry in advance if it has)

It was. Wink Easy to miss in this monolithic thread however.
