Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
I like tone and I met him more than once and he is a nice guy. but tones political views are really weird. I wonder why the guys who shout the loudest about how non-political bitcoin is are also sometimes the ones who have very far right wing political agendas and are not shy to try to evangelize about it. telling folks what they should eat. telling people what is "good" art. telling people how they should vote.

having a deep understanding of btc does not make someone having a deep understanding of anything else.

I have seen those that scream the loudest about their freedom work the hardest to curb others freedoms.

Also observing $16k incoming.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"
The battle for $20000 continues

Personally, I do not believe that we are in that zone yet.

However, I do believe that we are entering the last resistance point before entering into such no man's zone.... or is it dead man's zone?...

Anyhow, $16,200-ish to $17,250-ish seems to be our last resistance before such upcoming zone.  Will $16,200-ish to $17,250-ish fall as easily as $13,880 did?

That seems to be the millionario dollario cuestion.

Back to wallie topics on the WO thread. Roll Eyes

Hitting $16090!

Maybe BTC likes the political unrest & instability the way it is going up past $15k now that recounts are in order and Marchfor45 is going on. It should end peacefully and without any extra cases added to the national total. Roll Eyes

too bad these wordy-man posts take time...

Oh?

You cannot just throw down walls of text within a matter of a wee-few minutes?  Shocked Shocked

Must be a lot more taxing to rise to wordy-man wannabe status than many mere mortal normies would conjecture?

TLDR:
Sometimes sucks carrying out requisites of an actual rather than a wannabe wordy-man.

Your conclusions are implicit, but implicit conclusion must be tested to show validity. You don't test, you just keep implicating to seek "proof".

On the top, you call me arrogant (which i really was, until about a decade ago), just to be arrogant yourself.

he’s a nihilist he believes in nothing

Either you have never read any of my posts, which I may prefer, or you do not know what a “nihilist” is.

Protip:  The folks who desire a lifestyle of “hookers, Lambos, and blow” are indistinguishable from nihilists.  Drug addicts are the worst of applied practical nihilists.

Just in case I have not repeated it sufficiently of late, this is the most passionate possible condemnation of nihilism:

Dear Talking Monkeys:

Please get it through your thick primate skulls that you are alone in the universe, you are all going to die, there is no life beyond this world, and nothing whatsoever will remain of you if you do not safeguard your posterity.

This is war.  My enemy:  Nothing forever!  Never!

Gautama expressed an essentially atheistic philosophy, eerily similar to Schopenhauer’s World as Will.  His Nirvana had the same objective as Schopenhauer’s Renunciation.  All of the Buddhist religious mysticism was piled on later, after the historical Gautama.  Such a thing could conceivably also happen over the course of future centuries to Schopenhauer and his quasi-mystical palingenesis of the Will, which can only be escaped by renouncing all desires and attaining the state of Nirvana, i.e. nonexistence.  (Sanskrit nirvāṇa = ‘extinguished’, literally ‘blown out’ in the sense of a candle.)

Obligatory at this juncture:
Quote from: Nietzsche (The Antichrist, Aphorism 42)
For this remains [] the essential difference between the two religions of decadence:  Buddhism promises nothing, but actually fulfills; Christianity promises everything, but fulfills nothing.

Parenthetically, I must remark that Gautama and Schopenhauer are correct:  Life inevitably has more suffering than joy.  People with an inner vitality must fight every day for a few precious joys amidst many sorrows.  Decadent people tire of this, and thus seek escape.  The desired escape can be rational and realistic as Gautama and Schopenhauer, or an irrational escapist fantasy, such as the Christian heaven or the transhumanist Singularity.

I need not remark on the irony of one so wrapped up in his own worldview that he fails to realize, I see his world better than he does.

LOL
And i tell you, i always felt exactly the same about you.
We are like mirrors, producing infinite regression.

I don't know from where you sucked out the conclusion that i deny external reality. NOT TRUE
I could go on with other things you just seem to "see" in my statements, emphasized by mixing quotes as you need to "prove" your opinion about me.
On the top, you call me arrogant (which i really was, until about a decade ago), just to be arrogant yourself.
Grössenwahn? Consider that.

EDIT: Just remembered the term: Implication.
Your conclusions are implicit, but implicit conclusion must be tested to show validity. You don't test, you just keep implicating to seek "proof".
Like a self fulfilling prophecy generator. You don't have to tell me that you don't agree, because you will just implicate something else to defend your ego.

I won't continue this. Enjoy your game without me now.

I think we'll go just a little bit over $16k and stay there for a short time, before going back under $16k.

But then we won't stay in the $15xxx land for long either. Maybe a day, maybe less.

Then we'll go into $16k for good.

note pulled info from here

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.55488187

as I noted in an earlier post
 { https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.55491561 }

the  best streak of above 12,584

was from 2017-12-06 to 2018-01-15  that was 41 days

so 21 down and 20 to go.

This will be a really nice streak to break.

If we stay hot we break the streak on Dec. 2, 2020

so 2020-12-02 here we come.

We also are developing a second streak Nov 1 on is above 13545

we have never had a full month from day one stay above 13000. I for one want to see both things happen.

and we are unfolding a third streak more on that later."

I am quoting and altering my post from yesterday.

I want to talk about the third streak that is opening up.  BTC never had 12 days in a row over 15000

Below is the longest 15k+ streak

2017-12-21  16,033
2017-12-20  16,724
2017-12-19  17,986
2017-12-18  18,634
2017-12-17  19,110
2017-12-16  18,430
2017-12-15  17,334
2017-12-14  16,351
2017-12-13  16,434
2017-12-12  16,854
2017-12-11  16,293.    11 days in a row.

note I get all my stats from the following thread.  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1472141

I have been using his data to show these streaks.

So we have 3 streaks going

1) 12854 +. is at 22 days and closing in on the 41 day streak from dec 2017 to jan 2018

2) we have a 6 day 15000+ streak closing in on the 11 day streak from dec 11 2017  to dec 21 2017

3) and our Nov 1 to Nov 11 streak above 13000 is the second longest streak from the beginning of the month above 13000. Jan 1 2018 to Jan 15 2018 is in first place.
