Since this threading is about Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion it will be good I mention The reasons why Bitcoin is still valuable and still increasing in price which is, because of it's scarcity, divisibility, acceptability, portability, durability, uniformity and durability.

The total supply of Bitcoin is only 21 million, did you notice it is a digital currency.
It has influence all over the world due to which it is in the highest demand, Bitcoin has remained faithfully in the market for a long time, so the possibility of loss and risk is very low when people invest here.

The market is so incredibly short Bitcoin right now. Any good sized move up will cause nearly $8,000,000,000 in liquidations. That will cause a massive candle by itself. With MSTR finding its way into indexes and pension funds scooping up BTC, it seems like only a matter of time now. I think we’ll see another month or two of sideways action and then a nice sized candle taking us to $85K at the end of the summer.
8 bil is not nothing, but only a 0.66% of bitcoin's market cap...worth maybe a 4-5% rise (assuming a 7-8X multiplier).

So, peeps just put 5% down on a 1mil "modest" house in San Diego and get 100% money "growth" per year (10% of a 1mil house is 100k, which is 100% growth coming from 50K). Crazy stuff, but explains why people stay with RE.

Re trading on CEXes...wanted to trade something on Gemini (for purely historical reasons).
Their liquidity is terrible...bots presenting fake ask/offers all the time...trades occurring in a few $$ range and are literally filling by a few bucks at the time.
In some cases the "tape" overruns your order by a few bucks and still not getting filled.
I am not sure how Bob was able to fill his "farm" orders, maybe OTC?
Fortunately, this is the last time I 'had" to trade there...phew.

Poor liquidity and volume
So price fluctuates way higher than normal and orders are not filled.
Frustrating though
Thought I could benefit from the rampant changes and gain the coin way lower than other exchanges to sell at higher price but the order was never filled.
Abandoned the account, just found out that's the current Bitget. Ironic.
