There are all kinds of levels of poverty and there are all kinds of ways that more well to do peeps keep themselves separated from such, whether merely different areas of the city or security guards or public systems of separation.

Of course, in a hypothetical state of Armageddon then we would assume more break downs in the systems of separation.  The area that I am currently living does not have such Armageddon issues, and since I am currently not really able to travel, like many other people,  I can only speculate what other areas of the world might be like at this moment... including that i cannot really put myself in such situation.

In other words, I am currently having some difficulties imagining Armageddon situations for myself, even though every location does have poor people, but the poor people in my area still seem to have plenty of food and the ones who are more poor and in more dire circumstances are NOT a large enough contingency to be any kind of threat to me, currently.

This whole topic came up because Elwar was referring to his situation in Panama.. so yeah, he likely is in a situation in which there are more potential problems, and especially if he is staying in neighborhoods that have more poverty, whether he stands out as a target or not... I gather based on some of his past circumstances and even comments that he likely does not mind some drama in his life, anyhow... hahahahaha

I think people know, especially if you explain to them if they have made some misunderstandings.  Yeah, people are dumb too, but it is not a good approach to present yourself as all knowing and others are dumb, because you are going to start to seem like the dumb one for having had devolved into too much pretentiousness and presumptions... which would not be very scientific, correct?


Of course, there are all kinds of problems in the world, and sure there is some panic going on in regards to this particular situation in part based on the amount of press that it is getting and also based on lots of inconsistencies in the information presented and maybe even lack of testing, preparations, supplies and equipment, and a lot of economic activities shutting down, infringements on freedoms, movements and privacy, etc.


I did not know that this was ONLY an italian situation or topic.


I already saw that you are participating in other threads that are about COVID19, but this here thread is about bitcoin... so yeah, we are also talking about COVID19 because it relates to bitcoin, but I doubt that we are wanting to get too much into COVID19 technicalities.. but on the other hand, yeah, if we are talking about cures, or prophylaxis or various other approaches to treatment attempts, then there is ONLY so far that we should be delving too much into technicalities about COVID19 specifics in this thread, but of course, if you have points that you want to make or corrections that you want to make, then you are more than welcome to do that... On the other hand, it can become a bit problematic if you become too emotional or defensive about whatever points you are making or attempting to make...



I suspect that a lot of members appreciate your perspective.  Maybe not everyone, but a sufficient number of people.


You have made claims, and you have also made rebuttal attempts.

Sure it is up to you regarding how you present your facts and your arguments in order to do these things.


You are not going to stop false claims and differing ways that people have of presenting materials, and you are also not going to stop some people from being gullible.

Likely each of us have our own responsibilities in terms of how to digest information and how large of a grain of salt to take various kinds of presentations of information.  Sure, some of us are more gullible than others, and sometimes we don't even know our own levels of ignorance or incompetence, but in the end, members with varying levels of competence and ignorance are going to participate in forum threads like this one, and there is only so much that can be done to purify the information that is shared.. some people are inevitably going to be duped, from time to time.  that is just the way of the world and the ways of the interwebs (a series of tubes).
