This is such an extreme volume starvation, I can't believe it. Didn't these crash every single time? the last two days were bad enough, now it's 13:30 UTC, and we reached only the 7.2k mined in a day!
Yes, there may be Mr. Super Investor who changes the rules. But can the whole market just rely on that? Looks... unstable.

Low volumes during side trends are normal and make no prediction of coming movements (up or down). I would even say we are more likely to go up after this, given the current underlying uptrend.
Low volumes during strong price movements (up OR down) however signal an impending reversal.
Because tha 500k BTC M4N1puLaT0R (fanfares of DOOM), I think he could strike any minute, but shouldnt be dominating anyones trading decisions. After all he cant control the market, only scew it after his liking, what means in the end the market unfolds like it would without him. Such a large player only adds more variance (noise) to the mix but thats all. If you can catch the spikes, good on you, if it catches you on the hop, dont worry things will go back to normal in a couple of days!
