When MtGox first started dealing with multiple currencies it appeared as if all orders showed up in all currencies with the price adjusted giving Gox a half a percent cut. So I could place an order trying to sell BTC for $10 each, and it would show up on the Euro book as someone trying to sell BTC for 8 Euros each, or whatever the conversion would be.
I've not looked since, but I imagine it's much the same now.

the MtGox live chart is in Euros
as far as i can tell mtgox plays with the walls for markets other then USD, but they use the USD walls as a starting point.
this makes very little sense to me can anyone explain this?I'm pretty sure MTGoxEUR doesn't actually have more liquidity then their USD market....
I saw that some days ago and thought it was a mistake by btccharts.com but now I also see it on bitcoincharts.com! It must be true. The volume on EURMtGox is only 10% of USDMtGox, but the liquidity seems identical, for ASKs and BIDS!
I also dont get it.
