If this is compounded over the remainder of this calendar year, one bitcoin will not be worth more than $ 92,807 in Dec 31st.

Oh for fucks sake. That's it! I'm leaving... nothing moves in Bitcoin any more.

Anyone want to sell some wall posts for bitcoin?

Buy some more silver from me!  Grin At least it is doing as well as an ECG (EKG auf deutsch) of a dead person measured in Federal Reserve Dollars...

Pogcoin will be the next big thiing.

I guess that's how the future will think pogo (dance style) was invented: Someone dropped a tube of pogocoins in a club:

If you voted, in reality you are an accomplice to this mess and only have yourself to blame if you get hurt.

Careful about pointing fingers. There's a valid argument that if you pay taxes, you are an accomplice to this mess.

Can you point me to that argument, because I never heard it. I see no moral problem whatsoever if someone does not pay taxes, only a practical problem. It is not really a choice because it means you'll end up in jail if you disobey or worse if you resist. That is the only reason I submit to the guns.

Osama Bin Laden famously made the argument (others may have as well) that there were no "innocent victims" in the 9/11 attacks since Americans participate in the subjugation of other cultures through the taxes they pay into the US government. Essentially, that makes every tax payer a valid target.

The argument is flawed on too many levels to discuss here, but right off the bat, if the payment of taxes isn't voluntary, the rest of it doesn't fly.

Wasn't the suggestion that there might be a moral problem if someone does pay his taxes?

I'm not sure where it comes from. There's definitely a kernel of truth to it. Sure, I understand the rationale of acquiescing to it, I do so myself but that doesn't mean I don't get a share of the blame.

I think the main thing is to stop blaming others for our woes and to look within. It's hard to do but worthwhile.

I'll see if I can find that argument somewhere...

Two thoughts to consider:

"A population gets the government it deserves"

"If not me, who? If not now, when?"

Last week this 6-hour slot scored +6.7%. Now the same would be about $82.69  Cool

1:28 to go...

I am so sorry to inform you that despite my expectations, and the good will of the people participating this thread, and the heroic efforts of the traders in MtG online exchange,

The six hour slot had a payout of only 0.645% plus the principal.

So, I must conclude that the rally is over. After all, at the measly quarterdaily rate, the daily increase is only 2.60%, the weekly is a mere 19.7%, which leads to barely a double (+116%) in a month.

If this is compounded over the remainder of this calendar year, one bitcoin will not be worth more than $ 92,807 in Dec 31st.

As we are obviously all doomed, we might as well SELL; SELL, SELL!!!!!11

HODL OR DIE
with all the talk about europe, cyprus, euro, etc.. why is gold down 8-10 bucks?
that really seems odd to me. almost like the market has decided cyprus does not matter.

You are making the mistake of thinking the price of paper gold is the same as physical.  When the markets crash, people sell their paper gold to cover their losses in the market, bringing the paper price of gold down.

Gold has the nasty habit of going into hiding. It is not available to be purchased when you need it. (Yeah except paper gold of course..)

Over the years I have learnt to trust in Tulving discount. It is the discount (in those golden years, nowadays commonly a premium) of 90% circulated silver over spot silver. If anyone interested, I can teach you how to interpret it. This was one of the most important things I learned when I was new to silver.

Well I am all ears. Always wondered about things like this.

This thread went over the 800 pages resistance, so I'm bullish about the post count, we will get to 1000 pages at least.

Well fuck that! I'm not adding any more posts to this. Talk about overextended! I'm also deleting all my posts from this thread. Eat THIS, post-bulls!

We could crash this thread down to 400! lol
I won't let this shit go through page 900

Oh noes... thread bubble! There's the double top... and there's the MACMDMA!

today looks ok, but the past few days were so/so.  Losses happen on individual stocks too.
