74.9!

Not enough people selling.

Would it be bad if the market ran out of sellers for a while ?

15% ON GAINS under 5 million.

Then its 50% for everything over 5 million.

That is, if you know your cost basis Wink

Or if you don't live in the Caymans  Cheesy

No kidding. I'd be significantly out before then. I could take care of everyone in my immediate family (pay off their debts) and set my mom and pop up in a house that is fully paid for.

Don't forget the fact that you lose half in taxes  Sad

I can't get a straight answer on this.

Some people say 15%, some say 50%.

Then someone rolls in and flames the shit out of everyone for thinking about paying taxes, lol.

It's going to vary as you have state and federal taxes, but assuming 30-40% for $250k or less will probably get you in the ballpark.

Hopefully by this point I can just pay for their house in Bitcoin then.  Wink

I think it depends on how much you cashed out.

Right now, I'm seriously considering the possibility we will be there before the year ends.
The 13.6% per week we've been seeing since January would indeed put us at $10k by the end of the year.

I haven't really looked into it much to be honest.  Obviously it also depends on which nation you live in.

I love how there haven't been any retaliatory dumps after passing $70 (or any large transactions at all), it's like everyone including the bears are in total shock and don't know what to do anymore.

The rules of the game (over the last few years) simply do not apply anymore. Its time to take a step back and remember why we all were so interested in bitcoin in the first place. We all know the potential, we should stop being so surprised that its doing exactly what we expected it to do.

Exactly. As I said earlier today, this rally will not end before $10k. Right now, I'm seriously considering the possibility we will be there before the year ends.

I like your enthusiasm Zom! I've got strong hands, but I think they might drop a few $10k coins....

Well I'll sell some coins as I have to pay taxes. Right now, I'm not yet wealthy enough to quit working, but once I have around 25x - 50x annual salaries accumulated, I will sell around 10% of my coins so I can comfortably retire.
