I think we are going to break thought 15 with no problems, we'll make a 21$ high b4 hovering in the high teens for a while.
I'm still holding my short position, unfortunately. but hey having a few $ on the exchanges is not a bad thing...

What are the reasons behind this rally? New investors for Bitpay? CES? New Megaupload?

I think the raise from 13.4 to 13.8 in the last few days was triggered by insiders. A crash is expected if they want to take the short term profit.

I think there has been not just an increase in good news, but news in general. More awareness = more people wanting to participate.

It's seasonal, people, especially nerds who are into btc don't spend as much extra during the holidays. So there is plenty of that 14. pay left over to get some btc. Since eveybody got their 1. pay of the year it's invested before it rots.

One thing is certain for sure and it sucks: After bitcoin suddenly goes up it also suddenly goes down
I'm pretty sure that's true of the vast majority of things? I dunno.
The trick will be if it goes down less than it had went up.

But seriously, them some seriously big buy orders. I am preparing for the eventual dumpage/rollercoaster ride. I just can't imagine someone who buys 800 BTC at 14.15 is smart enough to hold onto them for more than a two days.
he got caught up in all the pessimism. it's too bad b/c he's one guy i'd like to see get dragged along with the rest of us to the upside.
