Also, last time I posted a picture of a storm it only took about 3/4 of a second for a bid wall to pop up... so here it goes again  Lips sealed:

BOO it didn't work this time Cry Maybe it will just take a few minutes for the sound of thunder to reach Mr. M  Grin

What was up with the guy needing bitcoins really bad yesterday? What could the purpose have been? (Talking about the $10.80 bid)

it should all become clear in a few days  Tongue

I just wonder if these people with deeper pockets know what they are doing or have no clue at all. Example: That old rally bot that kept bringing the price up after a dump was taken. Haven't seen him in awhile.

I suspect people are going to do that, and more.

Btc-e is having a rally, (for them at least this is considered a rally.) Will MtGox play catch up again? lol

I've always seen that prices there are consistently below mtgox. If anything this should be considered a period of increased arbitrage activity.
We can talk about that when an if prices are above mtgox.

HODL OR DIE
Do you folks actually make enough profit to warrant the amount of time you spend involved with bitcoin price watching?
I realize many do it for fun but why not do it with stocks where there are 1000s of more opportunities for good trades? Instead you waste time on this puny thing called bitcoin trading? The time spent here you could watch 100 stocks closely and trade them at 5-10 bucks to get in or out. Then there are divs too if you time things right.

Bitcoin is riskier too...

I reckon if people who actually made money figured out what they made per hour invested in bitcoin watching they would cry :-)

Me? I am a div growth investor who drips. That is why i am not trading. I buy companies to hold for a long time.

Hmm there still seems some sort of "gravitational pull" on the prices.

Hurr Durr, Only by drawing a dumb line I can make 14500$ like him in like two months. Oh boy, if trading was that simple I would be rich. (my technique is buy high, sell low lol)

One damn good reason to trade bitcoin and not stocks:

Taxes

Try a roth ira or regular ira if you think taxes will be low for you when you retire.

So with a roth... Taxes are irrelevant unless the laws change.

But i am off topic. My point was time versus profit with trading btc. I think i could outdo many here by looking for soda cans to recycle. Seriously.

And the wall is gone. What will Mr. M do next?

Edit: Sneaky! That last person sold 1.3k btc at 10.80 and is now hoping to buy them back at $10.66
