coinbase will be a good wallet for you and it has also the convertion if you are on a country which they allow to do.
Myetherwallet is one of the best wallet that based on ethereum and some erc20 tokens.
what ever wallet you choose just remember to take care your priva keys and password.

I think the best wallet for Etherium is Myetherwallet because not only ETH alone Myetherwallet also support almost some altcoin (ERC20) so I suggest to make a wallet in Myetherwalet.

best wallet for storing ethereum is MyEtherWallet.com

Also even better option is if you buy Ledger nano S Hardwallet, because, it's even more safe than only using wallets from internet and making them or printing them, because printer also has memory, maybe? don't know for sure, but I'am probobly all history of memory on a computer is not intirely erased.
