Bitcoins in africa.. Uhh shouldnt we work on getting them food first?

It's not "this OR that", it's "let's do all that we can at the same time!".
A widespread use of Bitcoin in Africa will help solve some of the problems. Not all.
It will, by the way, help with several problems associated with "getting them food there" too ;-)

weex, you're welcome to use the following image that I had created for the Kenya 2012 humanitarian team (PM me for the hi-res version):

I'll retain the rights so that I can still use it for future projects/merchandise.

This doesnt really explain how to Help africans

- no inflation, which some local currencies might or might not suffer from
- easier handling and transfer (little ATM coverage, high mobile phone coverage)
- easier international trade
- easier and cheaper "send-money-home" transactions

..and many more!
