NEW: CENTRE appears to have blacklisted an address holding USDC for the first time
Thats it..Crypto become surveillance system.Solution is privacy and fungibility...
Stable coins, altcoins, tokens, etc, all of those are centralized assets provided by companies. They can be easily shut down, coerced and censored.
Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies ideals and fundamental lies within bitcoin, and maybe in Ethereum also. No government can do a war against bitcoin. They can, but they will lose, because there is no real target that could be censored to control the network.
USDC, on the other hand, is just a company. Nobody will stand for them, and you shouldn't.
Hm, this one looks very convincing to me since it's upto the current rules and regulations. I mean all the centralised and decentralised debate is true. Let's not forget Satoshi vision here, since anonymous transaction and power to untraceable data was all he had in mind. Then came these people with bouncing mind and greed of earning money who developed centralised coins around blockchain, then stablecoins to give out paybacks etc. But they failed to recognise what it could do to community by exposing their funds, transaction etc. May be this is what happening in the Twitt above.
