They are developing new features and if you would watch the Q&A you would konw this. But you are too much focused on your "mission" here.

Also: Community Building and Marketing is part of "development". you can have the best features, if nobody knows it is worthless.

I gave up with you people. Again: Old version = open source, new developed implementations = not open source yet (=protected from copy/paste).

You can just install the old version on your machine which is 100% open source, so where is the problem?

1. DeepSent was lowered in priority. They focus now on the webintegratoin + vote central (=governane mechanism of the coin). So only that DeepSent is delayed, does not mean there is no development.
2. There was not a single coin sold from the premine wallets, you can check this on the blockchain. You just have wild speculations. The coin devleopts in a brillant way, and it would be least profitable to do what you stated, even if your assumption are right (what they are not).

No development? There is plenty of devleopment, technically, marketing directed, community building, deeponion.shop, videos, votecentral, deepvault webinterface, etc.

The Bitcoin code is licensed under MIT. That's one of the most permissive licensing schemes available and it does not require the source code of a fork to be published, unlike GPL. So this is ok. However it is not open source.

What did you not understand? Proof is that there is no source code available. It's actually chicken & egg. If there would be source code it would also prove that there is no actual development. So either way...pick one of your liking 

There will be a less objective way of looking and discussing about this issue. Of course, the community behind deeponion is getting bigger and they are always here to support the project that gives them their income. That is understandable. The recent responses I read are nothing but mere rhetorics that do not respond to the issue raised head-on. But of course these people here, including me, are not really experts in terms of codes.

You are really wrong with what you are saying. Crypto-Rainbow is not the guy who is the only dev. He is also not the one who is doing the graphic design. you are so convicted about these things and having no open ear if some of your assumptions are wrong.

Yes, that is ok under the MIT software license, would not be possible under GPL.

Anyway, that guy who supposedly is the developer "Crypto-Rainbow" took the code from other projects, adapted it to his copy & paste coin, a few lines changed and some graphics added, without contributing anything to the open source community. Basically stealing the code without giving anything back. Which he could not anyway, as there is no actual development being done. He is a graphics designer, not a coder.

And thus there can not be a source code publication of DeepOnion as that would show there is absolutely nothing behind all the bubbles. A nice smokescreen.

Just one FUD example I read: "The DO wallet is not open source and the code is corrupted..." Answer: The older version is open source and everybody can install this version (without the new features). Only the new version witht the new features are copy/paste protected and therefore not open source at the moment. Nobody needs to install the new version. After the project is esablished it will likely be made open source.

Every coin was called a scam somewhen. Some people say Bitcoin is a scam, or whole crypto is a scam, and even some say money is a scam, get over it. People who wants real discussion, please have serious arguements and not just this 0815 FUD shit. We are bored from this and you have zero effect and you will have zero effect with these attempts. If somebody was a previous onion holder, of course he/she wants to be sure he made a wise decision meaning price will decline and therefore tries to push for this, but come on, move on, search your project and invest your money you received. But do not repeat the shit over and over again. It is really just boring.

DeepOnion is a coin you can adapt or not. It is a free market, you can choose.
