This seems to be a quite accurate analysis. I was thinking this to be a good project until I saw that anyone who would express any serious concern would be banned and deleted from thread.
If this comes as a surprise to you, then you're very naive.

But the real trouble is the non growing or even shrinking community. This is the true kiss of death for a coin.
There was no real community to begin with. The "DeepOnion community" consisted of the following:
1) Farmed accounts / shills, which represented the majority of the accounts posting in that thread and wearing signatures/avatars.
2) Greedy baboons which would sell out anything and anyone for a couple bucks.
3) A few ignorant and uninformed users here and there.

My view is not exactly as black and white like you say. There are grays also like greedy (but not who would sell out anything for a couple of bucks) and/or ignorant and/or uniformed users.

My view is not also totally pro or totally anti deeponion. I guess the projects in crypto nowadays are full of dubious ones. Well, deeponion may belong to it until they are able to prove their true worth. We may not be able to look at the projects in objective ways because in one way or another we are favoring some.

I wrote this on ANN thread:

"What makes Deeponion so popular? The marketcap value is very low. And I think it doesn't deserve even this value. The project is not unique at all.

No matter how good the community is, there will be no growth if there is not a solid and grounded project. Even if it grows, it becomes a balloon and one day it will burst."

and guess what happened..

Honestly though it doesn't really matter if it's a scam coin right? If you can get the coins for free and they are worth something or become worth something just for posting 10 messages a week why not? Smiley
I'll do it for a few air drops providing I get accepted lol

The price riched 0.7 already and it will go to 0.3. Dev made a lot of money out of this scam. It's exactly the same scenario it was with torcoin scam.

I have seen some of the members of this onion really into this, even if they are at risk of not getting anything.
well, i wish you all good luck. I just don't want to waste my time in promoting something that i would not get anything from.

A lot of legendaries, senior members and hero members that i've seen advised some members here to not fall on this kind of trick. That's i don't even bother and argue with myself joining the "free airdrop" goodluck to all participants of free airdrop. You should really check why the thread comments or posts have been deleted(the  concernswhen and critics) when they in question. With that kind of behavior it is really screams scan coin.

I got unfairly banned for an unknown reason, and for over 3 weeks could not get an explanation while following the airdrop rules Nonstop for 6 weeks. They do not grant the airdrop to everyone that follows the rules. I after 3 weeks of patiently waiting and getting my posts deleted after asking for an explanation dumped my coins. They are not spreading these coins far and wide, they are being elitist and keeping the airdrop amongst a small group. They banned over half of everyone from the airdrop.

This will not bring value to the coin....as of current the coin has no technology that makes it any different from any other shitcoin. Everyone who has any kind of concern gets deleted and banned. This is not a fair project by any means, they lost my trust.

I am an admin on two other pretty big crypto projects, customer service is very important, and DeepOnion has the least helpful moderators of any crypto organization that I have ever seen. I had plans to invest heavily in this coin, but I am glad that I dumped and wiped my hands clean of this project after they proved their incompetence to me.

The coin keeps decreasing in value, I imagine that everyone they ban will keep dumping, and now that this coin is only being distributed to a small group of people.....who exactly is going to be buying this coin? Not I or any of my friends.

This seems to be a quite accurate analysis. I was thinking this to be a good project until I saw that anyone who would express any serious concern would be banned and deleted from thread. But the real trouble is the non growing or even shrinking community. This is the true kiss of death for a coin.

Why do you say "if accusations are correct."?
I thought this thread provides the evidence? So the title is a lie by OP?
Thanks for pointing out that there is no evidence in here but fud!

No. The use of my words was precise. I didn't look into the accusations completely to determine it.
Don't put words in my mouth. I will edit my previous post for people like you who don't have a high level of reading comprehension

You mean the dev explaining HOW THE COIN WORKS and.. the source code is not "proof" ?
Talk about playing dumb for scam profits  Cheesy

So if i launch a fake-anon "coin" myself and i keep 60 billion of them and stake them and hand out 45,000 to you all via a fake airdrop.. you all will line up to defend it for BTC dust ?
