I remember people were pointing out that there were similarities between the opair scammer and declouds.

also the use of the "legendary" account as well.

the declouds scammer apparently used a similar linked in profile to the opair one

It's just little details that give out the distinct impression that it's the same person who is modifying parts of a script to carry out different scams.

I counted the latest Exbitch scam.

I am pretty sure only 5-15btc scammed

DeClouds, Opair and now EBitz, possibly all the same person.

Declouds was 200 BTC scam

Opair was 140 BTC scam

Ebitz is now 200 BTC scam

Conservative estimate would be that he could have made at least 300 BTC maybe in total because some of these investments would be coming from the scammer himself.

Said and done there's only one Real ZCash fork project, but no everyone loves a quick get rich scheme....

Prior to OcMiner and YiZ doing the real detective work and providing the undeniable Proof that this was a scam, there were all these warning signs that people chose to ignore.

1. Moderated Thread- Yes

2. No Escrow with some BS excuse being given- Yes

3. Code not being released until end of ICO - Yes

4. No Original Whitepaper- Yes

5. Bought "Legendary" Accounts Being Used- Yes

6. Using simple wordpress template for a site that has supposedly been done by "notorious hackers"- Yes

7. Aggressively Deleting any post that flags the above concerns- Yes

8. Promising Dark Market and saying deal is already in place but need money first- Yes

9. Saying it will be traded on the biggest exchanges at launch- Yes

10- Similarities with the Zcrypt Scam- Yes

11. ICO- Yes

12. Placebo the Scammer actively shilling for this ICO- Yes


These are just a few of the WARNING SIGNS that were there.

Now if you consciously chose to IGNORE ALL THESE, then quite frankly, you are either filthy rich and don't give a fuck about losing your BTC or you're just a gambler and you should go to the casino instead.

Both these "legendary" accounts have had their email addresses changed recently, so these accounts have either been hacked or sold.

thezerg was also proposing decentralized debit card for Ebitz.....guess who was also proposing those.....OPAIR....

The question is: where do you stop? I mean, I kinda agree when it comes to this forum, although that puts the moderators in a tough spot: are they responsible if they failed to realize that a coin was a scam? What if they ban something that is no scam?

Well.. Maybe SOME kind of moderation wouldn't be THAT bad when money is involved...

And this, everyone, is the reason why blockchain technology has a problem with mass adoption. Perfect.

ICO amount was faked so we never know true losses.

Was chatting right yesterday, cause i've invested in CORALPAY ico and they rasied "only" 7 btc till now, then i look at ebitz with thread like "90000 btc raised in 3 hours".
Taht's why i don't invest in ico where dev sponsored huge amount on first hours. better small ico and legit.
Probably they bought all themself, since there weren't an escrow. And quesiton remain: Who tha fuck invest 200 btc in a coin with no escrow?

If only they are exposed before the start of the ico,many investors money could be safe ,i hope it never happen again thanks to those who helped exposing these lies,it's one of the biggest scam of 2016
