bitcointalk should just ban all accounts and ips from users in China and Vietnam, those cat and dog eating yellows are responsible for the majority of scams in crypto imo

They cant even stop banning accounts which are being sold or bought and you think they will start banning scamaccounts ? The reality in here is very different my friend

Who runs this scam forum anyway?

Question is why most of users want to get scammed when there are already tons of threads literally warning against such so called IPO/ICO shit.

it's simple. Stop investing in crap without escorw. We are in a free market. Go to wallstreet if you want regulation or justice.

I agree the we can get around this by not investing in crap, but one surefire way to bring the regulation here regardless of whether or not we want it, is by endorsing some of the newest trends to come up.

Insane amounts of weed coins, and now we have a mushroom coin, is basically screaming for feds to come here and launch investigations.

Imagine how it would look if I was coming here for the first time and theres 20 different marijuana coins, 13 different mushroom coins, cocaine coins and herion coins, all running infrastructures designed to distribute drugs in countries that have outlawed them?

If these things take hold, I see this place as a breeding ground for them. I can almost guarantee either the board will die, be shutdown, or just 'left alone' and turned into a honeypot. Do you want any of those happening?

WTF happened with silk road? Now, a year later, people can come here and see active movements trying to build drug distribution infrastructures right on an open forum!

Yeah, right, that's gonna go over real fucken well.

We're seeing an active move from decentralized coins that arent really regulated, to decentralized coins trying to set up infractructures in the open for thing that are already heavily fucking regulated, and brought down SR. You think this board has a chance? Personally, I see honeypot INC.

Personally, apart from the obvious scamminess .. I would venture to say we're being set up.

Lets not ignore the white elephants:

NiceHash

CryptoAsian

Bitcointalk

Unregulated Exchanges

Incompetent Mods, ahem, mprep not doing his job... because "moderators dont have time to be investigators" umm bullshit, you have to investigate in order to moderate, unless you are blindly swinging the hammer...

the only regulated exchange i know of is Plus500, and thats more forex style, shorting bitcoin etc...

Twitter PnD groups - thats the biggest ponzi that perpetuates them all...

We have a technology here, that could efficiently redistribute resources on a global scale - and everyone is busy focusing on their own greed. It makes me sick, its like all the penny stock guys jumped ship for crypto

Bitcointalk not doing anything shows that they are ok with scams. Maybe mods here have been involved in scamming people who knows. people are ignoring how much this forum plays a rol in scams being pulled. Allowing scams and people losing money is not ok and bitcointalk is the gateway for such things happening. Sooner or later regulators will close this site if it goes too far.

People react with fear of loss, they want to invest early and make a return quickly regardless of how it is obtained.  It usually ends in someone being hurt whether it is the late arrival left holding the bag or a myriad of other possibilities.

is Racism a rule ? scamming sure as hell isn't !

and did you have any pro-active ways to destroy IPO scam coins ?
oh wait shit sorry i completely forgot you just admitted to being one of the guys who makes them on another topic an hour ago..
bragging to me that you have many on the coinmarketcap site, one of them in the top 5 and many with a cap greater than 1 million dollars.
remember ? do you recall telling me how you would dump them on me ?

but thanks for your contribution to the topic and all your wonderful and useful IPO scam coins "CryptoJerk"
just a quick question.. well i will add it to the other 2 i already asked you..

What are the names of the coins you responsible for ?
What other names have you used in the crypto scene ?
And How can we stop YOU ?

The issue is mostly Bitcointalk forum, this forum is the place to be to pull off these bullshit scams, hundreds of thousand dollars have been made through scams through this site, the announcement section. I don't know if what this site is allowing is even legal?

Easiest for me:

1 go thru the first 50 pages of altcoin announcements.

2 put all the ANN profiles on ignore. Takes about 3 days. usually they make a brand new account anyways, so you're not missing out on anything.

3 when you hear something interesting about the coin, take the account off of ignore

4 you're left with 49 pages of grey announcements, and one with blue ones

5 every time you log in, you get about 5-10 new announcements that are easy to spot. put those profiles on ignore unless it seems really cool (in your case, not ipo).

6 repeat

7 ?

8 profit of course. bonus points for going through 100+ pages of alt announcements, and combining steps 2 and 3.

Of course, this is just a passive resistance method. You seem to be looking to take an active one.

Is it possible to make a script to do this? Maybe someone could make one that just puts all those profiles on ignore?

3 dice sites went down lately too !

so it's not just gambling sites, pools and exchanges or online wallet providers.. and yes exchanges too !

but what can we do about them all ?

- warn people
- avoid them
- keep coins on your own pc

my problem is i think all of that crap is damaging to the entire crypto scene and Bitcoin's intrinsic value
and this also make us all look like scammers !

imagine you tell some stranger you are into crypto stuff and then they Google it..
they are prob going think your a new generation hipster digital-ponzi scheme scammer clown Sad

ONE YEAR ago bitcoin had a horrible reputation every where i looked and this place did too !

When i came here over a year ago it was so bad i was not even sure i wanted to get involved
i said this before few times in the last year..

holy shit guys it's gotten waaaay worse since !
and back then there was like max 50 coins i think and now ?

now it's just a huge ass silly scam circus of IPO's and 12 yr old CEO brats and "foundations" ripping us off for Bitcoin.

so.. we need ideas on how we can stop this crap !

I think it's time we started cleaning up the Altcoin scene of all these crappy scam coins !

So i want some ideas and i had one i heard from another guy that might work..
We can start an attack pool with anonymous login to attack some of these coins and 51% attack them ?
Anyone have server resources we can use for this and the experience for setting up stuff like Pools ?

but we need ideas on how to stop the IPO coins with no mining.. ideas anyone ?
maybe we can raise a bounty to expose these cowards making them ?
get enough money together and i bet they will get sold out by their eFriends !

We have to do something because this scam crap makes us all look like scammers and making Bitcoin look bad and pushing bad regulation on us.
