Or maybe the whales are in it to affect the price. Same thing happened last year and it blew. 10x profit for some of the alts. That's is how they do it but apparently we won't be seeing much of that since I believe this will be a very bad year for bitcoin and the other cryptocurrency.

Yes, this is like the complete opposite of what we have witnessed last year. In any case, I would take this opportunity to bag more coins in my wallet.

As for the case of the slump again, I can only speculate that people are losing faith and would rather wait it out this the market goes on a reversal before purchasing again, but I don't like that strategy.

It's worth remembering that $3000 is the cost to mine a Bitcoin in China (where the vast majority of Bitcoin are mined), so anything down to that level would be absolutely fine and actually quite positive for crypto

However, it came to the point that the market price for bitcoin has really drop and recorded the lowest market price for bitcoin in 2018. There could be more possibilities that it will drop and bitcoin will come to an end as what other users speculated where people will going to leave after a bad market condition for bitcoin.

So not much happened on Black Friday, regarding the btc price, just some normal fluctuation. I expect some bigger movements on December when people will be looking to buy christmas gifts and whatnot, we could also see a recovery in prices next month meaning that people would be more eager to sell due to a higher price. So, yeah, we should expect bigger prices swings during the holidays.

Looking at the Bitcoin price now, Black Friday seems to have very little impact on the price. Grin

I think one contributing factor for this was that people were hesitant to spend Bitcoin when the price is this low.

The drop in the price might have stopped people from buying a bunch of cheap consumer appliances and actually saved us money in the process. Last year this time, people were buying a bunch of stuff, because the price skyrocketed and they were rewarding themselves with the profits for Xmas. Roll Eyes

I often care about Christmas only but Black Friday, maybe it's my big mistake ever. I don't ever think Black Friday can affect to price of crypto market that much. Before Black Friday happened, new bottom of crypto market created and I think effect of Black Friday to crypto market price is great Sad
