Another part of the issue are the recent revelations where it seems some users who lost funds are receiving a tiny amount of their DOGE from unnamed.exchange. The timing does suspiciously coincides with the amount of people claiming here they have been scammed but it seems even if they are trying to make amends they have destroyed their reputation and it is beyond saving therefore in my opinion it is inevitable the exchange will (at some point in the future) close down.
If they operated as a genuine trustworthy enterprise it would be easy to give them the benefit of the doubt but they have exceeded to the point where goodwill cannot be shown to them. Imagine what it would feel like to have DOGE or any other funds deposited with unnamed.exchange only to not be allowed to withdraw and not be receiving regular jargon-free communication to explain what is going on and when the situation will be rectified.
Just exactly what are unnamed.exchange up to? Any ideas?
there are still some users who have deposited funds. Shit coins/tokens like "MAZA" or "ZET" (from the previous post) are listed here, and their holders are also there. Helping with the suspension of this domain, it helps to keep those users without their coins as well.
Probably all the owners of these shitcoins ignore problems with this exchange they still present it as an important step in the progress of the project. I know that because in one moment I warned about all this in the ANN thread of Mooncoin. but I did not recognize the concern.
Fact is, of all things, the only ones damaged here will be ordinary users to whom the coins were captured. So, the dilemma is whether pressure should be put to ban them unnamed exchange, which will leave some innocent people without their money if there is any value there. or apply pressure to stop using this service.
Shutting it down will stop more people from sending funds there.
I guess the real question is if the amount of funds that will be lost will be larger or smaller if they get shut down.
If the exchange gets shut down there is a finite amount of funds that would be lost / trapped. Which is what is in the exchange now / what TillKoeln has taken.
It it keeps running I really feel that it's going to be a much larger number as more funds keep coming in but not having the ability to withdraw or even have people get it credited to their account.
