He can pay any of black or sex shop item with cash without left a trace from his cards,or he can easy send an employer to do the task ,soo why would such personn get into bitcoin ?To grow the fortune;for fun ,makes no sense he doesnt need to try bitcoin, but he could take a look and make his own coin backed by real fiat.

Definitely he bought a few. He used them to buy Viagra and Cialis on the Dark Market. Even Warren likes a real bargain.

It will not happen, Bitcoin is way too risky for him. It could turn out to be a great investment for some one as wealthy as he is. He can throw in $1 or $2 billion and get himself a massive stake in Bitcoin.

Statements like this from him only brings more awareness to bitcoin.
So he thinks he is harming it while in fact he is promoting it because gen-zer's will do completely the opposite of what he says, since he is old and has crabby points of view of how the world is now.

When Buffet's share has lost half of its value during financial crisis, it was helicopter Ben saved him, so he will dedicate his life to fiat money in return  Grin

He's old-school. He said multiple times that Bitcoin is bullshit. I think that his word as more value than all the bitcoins on Earth for him. I won't take the risk to be looked as a clown to make what's pocket money for him Wink !

he doesn't know any better. these kind of investors will never invest in bitcoin as they love their fiat economy way too much. their wealth is build 100% in fiat. they won't give that up.

Last year on Bloomberg or one of the big global news channels, he was interviewed and he advises everyone to stay away from Bitcoin. A quick Google search could've found the answer.

Maybe secretly, who knows.. But that's why it's called a secret  Cheesy

Personally I doubt it as he is doing fine and he doesn't need to invest in something. Berkshire Hathaway is doing just fine for him and he isn't by any means a greedy person.

I bet he is buying bitcoin.
The price is really low at the moment (and he know that), so why not investing a few 100k in bitcoins?

He can make huge Profits in the future.
I don't think that will ever happen. He is an old school old man, he will never believe in Bitcoin since he said Bitcoin is just a "mirage".

Now that I think of it you have to wonder why he WOULDN'T just grab a few 100k like you said.  Even though he has publicly dissed Bitcoin it may not be the case anymore.

Basically Buffet and others old blood investors are not believing if non-regulated currency. For them current state of Bitcoin is similar to Wild West.
They don't believe government and politicians will leave bitcoin unregulated for long and bitcoin must change to be on par with other payment methods,
when that happen bitcoin will lose its worth, so it is better to leave it alone - Buffet's logic.

They will never get it, they are simply from the old generation, it's the same as trying to explain Bitcoin to your parents, they will never get their heads around it, it's just too complicated for anyone that hasn't been born in the era of internet OR if they are engineers or somehow computer related even if they are older.

No, I don't he is buying.  He won't even touch gold, why would he buy bitcoins?
Man now that I have this information a lot of stuff becomes more understandable all at once. The guy doesn't understand gold either. Well then yeah, you'll never get him to buy bitcoins then. It's no use  Cheesy

“Gold gets dug out of the ground in Africa, or someplace. Then we melt it down, dig another hole, bury it again and pay people to stand around guarding it. It has no utility. Anyone watching from Mars would be scratching their head.”
Warren Buffet
My dog also makes this "I'd be scratching my head if only I had fingers" face when he sees me doing human stuff that he doesn't understand, such as cutting the branches of a tree standing in my path or other stuff like that. For sure dogs don't bother doing such stuff... yup that's for sure... :-/

Nah, he's already mentioned he refuses to invest in anything he can't understand. So no, not likely, but possible nonetheless.

it's not like he can not study it, i think he is scared by the fact that even with his huge skill in trading, he will lose if invest in bitcoin

the market is unpredictable for anyone, even for him, this is the true reason for me

Yes that is true however he may be a believer in the long-term value of bitcoins and still buys them with the intention to hold for the future.

For a billionaire like him, he could buy a lot of bitcoins, become a big whale and may even play around our investments by pumping and dumping lol.  but i don't think he will do this, he'll probably just leave bitcoin to small timers. He'd be much more interested to what he can handle best and know well.

Yeah right... Like he would take the risk of market manipulation.. He probably has investigators on has ass all day long checking every trade he does for even the slightest sign of insider knowledge or manipulation.

Bitcoin trading is a playground for manipulation at the moment, but don't expect the big boys to copy that, they have too much to lose..

Probably he is not doing so, at least if he is sincere to his belief. I have heard him speaking and read it, and he is not prone to invest in anything that has no solid value. In fact I read an interview in which he talked about bitcoin and said the value of BTC is in having the ability of storing and transfering money (as a check also has the ability) and that does have value, but not that much to make Bitcoins be worth hundreds of dollars.

Likely not, he is incredibly old fashioned Wall Street and he only invests in what he can understand. I highly don't he understand, nor has paid an incredible amount of attention to Bitcoin.

probably not. he's bashing bitcoin at every opportunity. it wouldn't make sense for him to buy something he's trying to get the public to throw away.
