Your answer please

Of course all these guys are buying up coin, at least all the ones with half a brain are.  If something shows some promise its wise to diversify and have an investment in it. Bitcoin has shown promise quite clearly, its not going to hurt him to chuck in a mil or so and if it goes wrong no big deal.

The only good thing that would come out of warren buffet investing in bitcoin would be the PR bitcoin would receive because of it and the amount of people that would flock to bitcoin.

I really doubt it's hard for him, he has made a mint and a half being ahead of the curve. Only thing I know he lost big on was buying pacific power as of late.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was, but he did come out and basically bash Bitcoin. He might be one of those FUD masters trying to get some cheap coins Wink

Nah, he's already mentioned he refuses to invest in anything he can't understand. So no, not likely, but possible nonetheless.

it's not like he can not study it, i think he is scared by the fact that even with his huge skill in trading, he will lose if invest in bitcoin

the market is unpredictable for anyone, even for him, this is the true reason for me

Yes that is true however he may be a believer in the long-term value of bitcoins and still buys them with the intention to hold for the future.

For a billionaire like him, he could buy a lot of bitcoins, become a big whale and may even play around our investments by pumping and dumping lol.  but i don't think he will do this, he'll probably just leave bitcoin to small timers. He'd be much more interested to what he can handle best and know well.

Perhaps he has a hidden stash somewhere waiting for the price increase to dump in the market and effectively crash it.

I don't think so. He is very old-fashion investor. Once he said that he doesn't understand how technology stocks work. I think he doesn't like technological stuffs. Roll Eyes

Does he even need to? With his networth, he could invest in every crypto-currency and still be rich. So far, the only Google search throws up that he says to stay away from it.

I believe. I don't think an old crook like him will still have the time to even read what bitcoin is. He'd rather finance a research about how possible shredding really is than saving his billions.

That is highly unlikely as he has publicly separated himself to have anything to do with it and said it will not last so do not invest or put anything towards it's growth.
He does not see it as a viable currency or have a future.
Narrow minded thinking.

This. There was some press back in December of 2014 that he was quoted as saying "stay away from bitcoin".  Would definitely be interesting if he is changing his tune. Where are you getting your latest information on Warren Buffet?  Do you have a link?

Warren Buffet is a billionaire and is not likely to be interested in bitcoin as his own history does not show that he is hugely interested in technology
