What is your  opinion as per  Warren buffet statement, he is a wealthy giant globally he told CNBC on Wednesday the recent craze over bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies won't end well. "In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending,"
Am really scared hope the end is not near. I want to hear from knowledgeable individual what the future holds.
sometimes it is good to stay away from some setting news before they pollute your mindset, not everything you hear on media you take into consideration, some news are just meant to be ignored.

No. 1 rule on this cryptoworld which is dont ever believe or trust someones words towards on how crypto would be either regarding on prices or future predictions. That BUffet man is just saying his own opinion not totally a reliable thing to consider for you to believe that guy usually make some funds but the truth is he do make engagement with bitcoin which is a total dumbass.

Very good advice. If popular / famous figure is saying something in front of the popular media then you should do totally opposite. because if this advice would be true, that wouldn't be available to public like that easily.

I don't know about the "end" part of what he's saying, as I don't think bitcoin is going to end.

I have great respect for Warren Buffet, and I understand what he's saying and why he said it.  There's no business backing bitcoin, and no government.  It's just the free markets that are responsible for whatever price bitcoin is, and as of late it doesn't even seem like the market is exactly "free".  I think it's being manipulated, big time.  And he's kind of right--the market has dropped over 50% after rising an incredible amount.  That's enough to give most investors pause.  But remember, he's only one voice and he's not always right.

At least the opinion of Warren Buffet may only slightly affect the state of the bitcoin market globally. However, such opinions may also be able to panic a bitcoin user if they make the opinion as a predictor as seen from the person who expressed the opinion. I never thought that bitcoin would suffer so quickly because I think bitcoin can still be much better and profitable from now on. The statement of an investor also makes it a challenge for us to prove that his statement will not come true. We see from the statement as if he was the one who can control the market price bitcoin. Let's enjoy this game.

Look at some point you need to trust in your instinct if you do not believe in crypto then get out, if warren buffet does not believe in crypto that is fine, but that does not mean that his words are law, there are many successful businessman that were unable to invest in the next big thing because they did not understood it and it is possible this is what it is happening.

Maybe right now cryptocurrency isn't looking great I just don't see why he thinks Bitcoin is a complete scam. Buffet hasn't really given any reason as to why cryptocurrency is a scam.

It all fear porn, they trying to buy low. For some reason, it working.

No one really knows what the future holds. However, I am sure about one thing, that majority of the governments will not adopt it openly because of the decentralised nature of the Cryptocurrency. Governments usually wants everything under their direct control and it is not possible with cryptos. Only governments with progressive mindset will adopt and support it. So the mentality is what makes the difference.

Same goes with the investors as well. Warren Buffet is a conventional investor who loves to methodical investment. Crypto is something alien currency for him and he is just denying to understand it. This is not the first time he is making such comments on bitcoin. Every time he goes for a tv or media interview, he talks foul about it. We are already going through a tough time and these smart investors are trying to knock us even harder. Ignore and keep your mind open for new things.

Peter Boockvar from wall street also said over a month ago Bitcoin would loose 90% of its value and most of you so called expert traders said he was talking crap   It has allready lost 60%  these guys dont trade for fun and bitcoin has become a trading commodity which is what these wall street guys trade in, but of course all the bitcoin traders know far more about how markets work than these wall street traders I mean they only do it for a living and make millions .....the mind bogles at the replys on this thread

Warren Buffett is a genius when it comes to allocating capital.  But, he doesn't invest in tech, so it makes little sense to believe he's an oracle in that space.  If you believe that crypto and blockchain are transformative, then learn from the early days of the internet.  Some companies turn out to be Pets.com, others become Alphabet.  Choose wisely and you will prosper, gamble recklessly and you'll crash and burn.

Same thing he used to say months before the price went nuts and everyone is buying crypto. I get it, he's a successful business magnate and an expert in traditional stocks, but I won't take a word from someone who doesn't understand the tech completely and is bias towards the old system. Everyone remembers how hard he bashed bitcoin and those negative remarks back in 2016 but a few months after, the magic happened. If you believe in bitcoin, you won't listen to these business magnates' old sayings. Rich people are just weeding out those who are smart enough to invest in crypto but emotionally weak to handle the crashes and whatnot.

them to make an issue about bitcoin to fall
where they will buy when the price they are targeting

What the hell does WF has to do with crypto? He is against it so what do you expect? I suggest you guys just stop for a day and took a day off. To much negativity will really affect your mind and your health.

If you are scared and worried then just get the hell out of the market right now. That's why we always hear members saying "weak hands are shaken". You are the definitive description of a weak hands.

You can just wait this crash and not panic because this is just temporary. But if you want to incurred loses instead of profit in the long run, then sell everything.

Just don't post this type of things in bitcointalk for all of our goodness.

It is because we have weak hands herein as much we have strong hands and those weak hands always piss off due to panic.

Always ignore peoples, who don't like crypto or always say negative things. We love crypto and we are supporting it whatever the consequences will be.

Warren Buffet or any other big names just say these things to create fud, so that they can enter at a lowest possible price in my opinion.
