Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!

I haven't heard any such crypto news updates today. Are you sure you've been hacked? or did you just think it was hacked because you made a transaction here? Maybe you just did something wrong or didn't double check the address you entered.

I hope next time you also provide a source link for others to see here in the forum platform section so that they can also give you suitable advice. Although there are chances that what you say like that will happen,.

I've seen it happen before. I don't know why they don't reply after they've asked for answers.

I know that something is happening with OP gadget. i do wish that OP read all the coment from other people on the forum so he know what to do.

How can you create an alarming topic without enough proof? I expect that I will read some useful information or more context in your text, but you only say that someone's address is appearing if you are pasting your address in the blockchair. That's nonsense. What is your reason for suspecting that the website has been hacked? In fact, your problem is so simple; maybe you just copied the wrong address or there was just a glitch in the website that was not necessarily hacked. Next time, before creating such an alarming topic about accusations of some website being hacked, gather information and proof that it is being hacked, because spreading false information about something that you are not sure about is not good.

You could ask first what the phenomenal is, not accusing right away or coming to a conclusion right away because it's not good for the community as you will raise an alarm.
i think is allright if he doesn't know, as we know other people comment indicate that they already knew what was going on.

The Blockchair is just an explorer where we don't need our key to access the website. I don't know what our problem is if that explorer is being hacked?, even the explorer is hacked, it won't have any effect for our balance even we put the right address there. I just remembered long time ago, (but I forget a name a Explorer), I just bookmarked my address on that explorer, but some day when I checked my balance, Looks like there's a transaction which I didn't do so it made my balance going to empty, I bit panic at the time, and open my wallet imediatelly just to know what happen. evidently, my bitcoin is still there, there are no transactions whatsoever there are no transactions like those that occur in Explorer.

Explorer is just online site which could be an error. But we should not panic, because we don't use the private key to access the website. if there are errors and the website ask our key, don't give it, because no one asked the key except the scammer.

That's the same as I've told him. His device's been compromised so all his data's at risk of being stolen. If there's crypto private keys stored there he's probably going to find he's lost balances. If he hasn't taken your advice he's got to start safeguarding his data before it's too late.

Be caution. I am pretty sure the device that you are currently using has been compromised. So please take action as soon as possible. You should erase everything from your device by hard-resetting and installing a new operating system. So the affected parts will be removed, and of course you have to recheck if everything works fine. Before that, you must write down your wallet credentials perfectly to avoid losing your funds. There is nothing wrong with the explores, and it does indicate compromising your device.

I hope the OP read all the replies here and made quick actions to secure his device and other keys.
Because it is not the blockchair itself here that has issue but his gadget, at least, he caught it and posted here in the forum.
A lot of people can provide him valuable feedback on what's really goin on with the situation.

I understand that you might be facing an issue where only one Bitcoin or Ethereum address gets pasted when you copy a Bitcoin or Ethereum address. This is a familiar problem that I have dealt with before. To fix this problem, I recommend that you install a reliable anti-virus program on your computer. This will not only help you prevent similar issues from happening again but also keep your device safe from other viruses. I always double-check the address before sending it because of this malware.

Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!
I don't think it's a block chair that is hacked, as there is no news on the internet, it might be your clipboard that is hacked. As there are many hackers who have the skills to hack the clipboard of the victim and they do it because when the victim copies the withdrawal or deposit address to transfer funds, then that address will be changed by the hacker's address automatically back in the clipboard.

If you don't know that, will paste it and will make the transaction. I recommend you to confirm this by copying the address and pasting it somewhere else in your PC or mobile whichever device you are using. And then check manually if the address is being changed or not.

If it is changed then know that your phone or device has been compromised and it would be better for you to follow the steps to stop them, like resetting your phone, or deleting everything on it, converting you r wallets from that device to another device and the main thing is, do no try to copy the passwords that you might have saved somewhere in your device because doing that will give these password to the hacker as copying password will save it in clipboard and the clipboard is under hacker's control.

OP may be known to be a malware. Just like me at that time when my laptop was infected with malware, when I copied the bitcoin address to make a delivery it turned out that when I pasted it the address changed to the bitcoin address of the malware scammer.

My suggestion is to reinstall your device and reset it. If not, you have to manually write your BTC address when you want to send BTC and make sure you check repeatedly whether your BTC address is correct or not before you lose funds because you sent the wrong BTC to another address.

Not convinced that blockchain is hacked. If you've noticed discrepancies when copying your Bitcoin address, you should try to investigate potential issues. Check the copied content by pasting it into a text editor to ensure it matches your correct Bitcoin address. Also, run a thorough antivirus and anti-malware scan on your device to check for any malicious software. Always exercise caution and use trusted sources when dealing with cryptocurrency.

it only looks at your wallet transactions. if the blockchain is hacked it doesn't cause us to lose our bitcoins right? This is encrypted with a special algorithm so that until now no one has been able to sabotage this coin except with the permission of the Bitcoin owner himself. to this day I still believe in bitcoin because no one can hack it at the front door. if the blockchain is hacked it doesn't matter. This is just a matter of looking at the transaction, it doesn't affect it at all.

Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!

Ive seen this before in the ETH network most likely in the transaction of the NFT users in the trend of NFT, they tried to copy the address and once they pasted it the clipboard didn't copy this they made another address to cope with, I guess there's a malware that comprises with your device, better to take a run of formatting your device and try to run an anti-virus to make sure your device is safe. Its okay to format than to lose most of your assets.

Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!
That is a clipboard malware. You will need to format your device and reinstall your OS.

If blockchair is hacked, I do not know what the hackers wants to gain because you have nothing to do on the site than to check your bitcoin transactions.

They don't need their seed phrase. What they do is basically install some malware and when it detects that some BTC address is in the clipboard it replaces it with the thief's BTC address and they are hoping that you don't notice while sending the transaction. Unless you are sending this to an address you send frequently, most of the time you don't look at the address that you paste, hence why this malware works out for the hackers.
This is why QR code is the best way to make transaction because it can not be changed to hackers address through QR code. But no matter the one we used, it is good we double check the address that we paste.

and put it Blockchair.
In fact they don't have a user panel, if they get hacked I don't think there's anything to worry about.
On the other hand, if you also use some other block explorer to paste your wallet address which turns out not to match yours, would you say they were also hacked at the same time? @OP, you need to change the title of this thread immediately.

It's not even make sense the hacker want to change your address since they can't access your wallet if you not share your seed phrase.

They can hack blockchair, but they aims to get the data or other information, that's.

The best way to get rid off from viruses is factory reset, although that means you're also delete everything in your device.

They don't need their seed phrase. Basically you need to format your computer and install everything from scratch.

The soon you reinstall/update the operating system the more your PC will be secured. Your Keyboard has been successfully hacked and I fear that rest of software including browser and wallet could also be compromise soon if you don't take action on time.

This issue only happens with you asbit is ok from myside. you could check on other explore too and you will see the same result.

If Don't know keyboard hack scam Read this where more than thousand malicious program used for keyboard hacking purpose. Don't download any program from unofficial website.

Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!

It is possible that something has happened to you and not to the blockchair.
Maybe your clipboard function is not working properly because the blockchair site still has transactions as usual and today at least when my fingers are typing I also monitor transaction activity on blockchair which also looks as usual.
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transactions?

As mentioned, maybe your device has been infiltrated by malware so the clipboard function is not working properly.

Be careful when copying, especially copying seed phrases or private keys on the clipboard using a mobile device.
