It's not even make sense the hacker want to change your address since they can't access your wallet if you not share your seed phrase.

They can hack blockchair, but they aims to get the data or other information, that's.

The best way to get rid off from viruses is factory reset, although that means you're also delete everything in your device.

It is not clear that they have been hacked. This your problem might be that of malware your device got caught. It is a malware mostly on the keyboard which changes your bitcoin address copied to the scammers address most of these addresses are similar to the original one with mostly the first few characters and the last ones looking same. You can read about this attack here and on how to fix it https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/how-to-lose-your-bitcoins-with-ctrl-c-ctrl-v-5190776
This is the likely culprit OP because if it's on their side, they would've issued some sort of statement already about this incident. It's commendable that you're able to do double checking, definitely saved yourself from a hacker that wanted to steal from you. It's scary that this kind of stuff is happening, imagine those that are spending their bitcoin to buy stuff for the holidays but they got scammed, definitely heartbreaking and difficult to understand how people are doing this, not fighting fair.

i think the problem is not with the blockchair but with the device you are using, maybe it is infected with a virus or malware which makes you paste something you shouldn't. have you scanned the device you are using? you should do a thorough scan of the device you are using because it may be infected with a virus.

Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!
It is malware issue on your device. You have to wipe out that device or use a new device but let's spend your time to check your online habit that seems to be bad and unsafe enough to make your device infected with malwares.

Blockchair.com itself is only a block explorer and you don't lose your bitcoin by copy and paste your public Bitcoin address on Blockchair.com explorer or any block explorer.

Blockchair works fine, I copy and paste addresses there back and forth without any issues, so maybe it's not hacked because Blockchair looks fine, but as others have said the clipboard virus attacks your device, you should still be careful before pasting and make sure the address is really yours.

If your device has been attacked by other malware viruses then this is more dangerous and it could be that the coins stored in the hotwallet on your device can be hacked, so try to check again before there is further loss.

I do not expect that this is due to the site being hacked, but most likely your computer has a clipboard hijack virus. This virus detects addresses that are copied to the clipboard and replaces them with addresses belonging to the hacker.

My laptop was exposed to this virus a while ago and some of my coins were stolen, but I was finally able to get rid of it and clean the device. You have to scan your device with an anti-virus program and clean it completely.

This may be the first case of clipboard hijacking case I have actually seen someone realizing about the issue before losing any money. Good on you OP, your attention to your address and your attention to detail has provably saved you from scammers.
I would recommend you to do some backup or your important information (ideally you should do it in a cloud service which also have scanning for viruses and unwanted software), after you have got all your important stuff backed, then wipe completely your devices and your USD drives, to be sure something like this will ever happen to you in the whort term.
You probably got this virus by participating in fishy and shady places related to cryptocurrencies or airdrops. Be careful what you link on, good luck does not last forever.  Roll Eyes

Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!
Before you claim something to be hacked, you need to first confirm how the thing works. Since you copied your address and pasted it in there and noticed the changes, have you tried using another method like copying and pasting the address on another website or even on a notepad to see if the address will still be the same or if it will change? If it doesn't, that's when you should know where your problem is from.

But for the time being, the chance of your PC or whatever gadget you are using being hacked is much higher than the chance of your blockchair being hacked. You should be thankful that it's not in sending out transactions that you notice this, like most people usually notice this.

Try wiping out your gadget even if it will take you to get a new operating system in order for you to be sure that the virus is being wiped out of the system, or better yet, you should still be typing the address on your keyboard instead of copying and pasting it.

There isn't issues with blockchair website it's something you're saying you've seen. You didn't take print screen of the browser so we don't know what you've seen. If you've copied addresses but it's changed after you've pasted it means you've been attacked by hijacking virus. Blockchair isn't hacked.

I just test the https://blockchair.com site, and everything is working perfectly. If you tried to copy your Bitcoin address and discovered that a wrong address was displayed after you copied the correct address, then your device might be under attack. It could be a clipboard virus or other malware.

Hi. I first noticed this when I tried to copy my bitcoin address, and put it Blockchair. The address is not the one that should have been copied!

I tried going to blockchair and there didn't seem to be any problems nor did I see them announcing that their site had been hacked. Have you made sure that you copied the address correctly and when you redo it, does this still happen to you?

I agree with other members' comments, that there may be something wrong with the device you are using. You need to check your device for any malicious software on it.

It is not blockchair that's been hack, there's no news and the site works perfectly. It is you that has been compromised by that copy-paste malware or virusand you probably have downloaded it somewhere else.

If you can remember on which apps or files you have downloaded and will be able to share, everyone can have an idea that file or app contains the malware so all can avoid downloading it.

You can check it on your download history.

Blockchair looks fine to me. You probably have clipboard hijacker malware in your PC that change crypto-currency addresses to different ones and try to steal your coins. This is a method of theft that we see frequently last years. Clean your PC before making any transactions. It's lucky you realized this in advance.

Either you are a person who is meticulous and pay attention to small details or you were just lucky. The easiest ways to prevent this from happening again is to install an antivirus on your device. Aside the antivirus software, the best thing you can do for yourself is to after you have copied the address write the last letters or alphabets manually. Also try to uninstall each piece of software piece by piece and then test whether it is better or worse that is if you noticed that it came after you installed a piece of software. This is not the only way as there are many. Hopefully one works best for you.

Sounds like there might be something fishy going on with your device instead of the blockchair being hacked.  Could be some kinda clipboard malware messing things up.  I'd say run one of those antivirus and anti-malware scans or something, just to make sure there's no malicious software on your device and  might help figure out what's causing this. Have you tried copy-pasting your btc address somewhere other than the blockchair website?

Have you seen any official announcement from block chair about this?
Is this reproducible in other devices also?

Because if not, it could be also that it's a local issue.

Malware will often try to infect your clipboard in order make you send funds to an attacker's address. So it could also be a local issue.
