True, Vostok airdrop did made Waves price rise, After that the whales that bought Waves for Vostok dumped their Waves. Another airdrop of what? Maybe Sasha could start buying back Waves to give incentives to holders, That might create demand for Waves, But it'll be only for short time. We need something that last longer and creates natural demand.

Sasha did made a tweet saying that in 104 hrs waves platform will change forever. Maybe we can access DApps directly from waves client?

Whatever he is doing hopefully it will jump start the price lol

Price has already started moving up, I'm waiting to see what would happen in 4 days, It's really exciting.

Still get 2.5 k Waves : who knows?

i think there is something wrong with waves ... not the assets .... other than that i cant come up with decent explanation !!!

A lot of this downwards trend is due to a simple reason - Bitcoin - yes there is some projects that jump up, some new ICO or some great news drive a coin higher but if you remove those ones the market of the alts as a whole is sinking and giving way to the rise of Bitcoin. Just imaging, you have plenty of waves and you are actively trading your coins when you feel time. Are you going to hodl waves when we have all that buzz around BTC?
Bitcoin is the first place to go when crash and but the first coin to rise when bull. Now many are looking to take profit of the first right wave = Bitcoin before jumping on the second follower - our Waves . Keep the mood up guys, all will be fine. Grin

A normal price is when it is back to ICO price in BTC, a rise is when it exceeds that by a good margin.

I just gave a very high level of what may be the reason [what should be the reason] and the reason that now they are going up toghether is maybe an indication that waves hit the bottom in relation to the satoshi price and should not go too low below 18000 sats. Hopefully even if Bitcoin goes to 100k waves will cost 18000 or above. Maybe this is the resistance level. After all this is not a coin to be in the top 200.

I understand that 3 parameters of improvement are currently under discussion with sasha, outside of technical innovations:

-waves buyback of a certain amount

-increase of fees at dex, who would become proportional to the amount exchanged

-increase in leasing remuneration, consecutively possible,

am i correct and what do you think ?

Ive replied to ivanov tweeters account about that.

Usually, buyback are done by company that have no other use or solution to use their cash. It it also a way to pump your share value easily.
BUT....
This is good for short term because share price will increase but usually a bad idea for long term sustainibility development of the company : you are supposed to use the money's company for long term investment.

Simply put, It looks like a desperate move from Ivanov cos his house on fire.
I suppose that the smarters Waves devs will begin soon to find other project.
