@Waves.support can you please confirm whether there is any vesting period for the VOSTOK tokens that we received during the airdrop campaign?
Hello. Could you please specify what does "vesting period" stands for exactly in the frames of the $VST airdrop?

Sincerely,

also prices and charts are funky on the web dex. WAU Coin shows as 10 waves / wau coin on the client, but the last trades were at 17 waves / wau coin

Hello Midas111. Indeed, some users may have difficulties when using the Waves DEX currently due to the currently ongoing maintenance there. This situation is going to be fixed & resolved successfully very soon.
In regard to your question with slow internet connection, you need to try to get access by using another hotspot, reboot your currently working one & get access via VPN (EU countries are preferable). Your internet provider might be a reason of some local restrictions, etc.

Kind regards,
Waves Community Manager

Yes. Its true that he sold Vostok. He published this in twitter:

https://twitter.com/sasha35625/status/1151093705736118272

But where have you found info about Waves buy-back? I just have read his last posts on twitter and didnt find nothing about it...

Buy-back would make sense. I was wondering why this was rising in btc so much. Surely just the tweet would not do that.

Well, I think he should start the buy-back program because AFAIK investors (at least me) are not that happy with the performance of WAVES. Also, he did the right thing selling VOSTOK stake he needs to focus on just one thing and maybe use VOSTOK money to buy back?

Numerous previous comments deleted - silence me like Assange is being silenced, but it won't change reality! People love to fawn over anyone with money - doesn't matter how they got it, if they're super rich, they're admired for it. Whereas as people like Assange - who's done a genuine public service - is smeared and murdered and no one gives a damn! And, no, he's NOT a rapist, has NEVER been charged with any crime, meaning the arrest warrant was invalid all along, as a senior UK lawyer said - because you must charge someone with a crime to extradite them. No one has ever accused Assange of rape. Angry

"Geoffrey Robertson QC [a senior British lawyer] said the European Arrest Warrant under which [Assange] had been detained was invalid because he had not yet been charged...The Swedes are guilty of an 'abuse of process' as they have not demonstrated any intention to charge or prosecute Mr Assange...The arrest warrant paperwork is not valid as it does not 'unequivocally' state that he is wanted for prosecution...Extraditing Mr Assange to Sweden would be a 'real risk of a flagrant denial of justice' and a 'blatant breach' of British constitutional principles."

From the European Centre For Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) website: “Sweden has been condemned 17 times by international judicial bodies for not respecting...the prohibition to extradite to countries where there is a risk of torture or inhumane and degrading treatment, with unacceptable and bloody consequences for the individuals involved and their families.”

http://mpegmedia.abc.net.au/news/fourcorners/video/20120723_assange_288p.mp4 -  what happened with Assange and the two women starts at 7:50 in. I have the Swedish police transcript - Assange was interviewed in Sweden and told no crime had been committed, he was free to go - so I know it's true!

Waves CEO and Founder Alexander Ivanov sold his stake in the Vostok project to GHP Group senior partner Mark Garber. The details of the deal were not disclosed

Yes, he's getting out before he loses money on that - if no details were disclosed, don't be so gullible to think he's sacrificing his wealth for you lot! Angry There are more Vostok sales in the future - just the first tranche has been sold, I think - $120 million! Total is $600 million!

Looks like Sasha's latest pump-and-dump scheme didn't work. Grin People are wise to his games now. When the price goes high for no reason, some poor sod is duped into buying Waves, which then collapses. It's all fun and games for Sasha because he was given millions up front for doing nothing and is stealing many millions more with his Vostok Ponzi scheme (it's theft because he's done NOTHING for that money) - what does he care about screwing people by artificially manipulating the price? ZooomEx- a new cryptocurrency exchange!
concurrence is welcome with ETH.

The latest rumors tell that ETH will use BCash(!!!) network "for a while" for scalability.
This would show clearly the weakness of ETH. Also BCash has plenty of enemies.
WAVES could use this for a bit more aggressive advertising, maybe it can gain a better position for long term...

thank you for the good news, unfortunately i cannot send any merit;
also if sasha is confirmed to have sold its stake in vostok, and has launched waves buyback, a new interesting phase opens.
