Can't wait for ledger, extra security is always welcome.

Yes, I too can't wait for the Ledger Wallet. Any clues on when it will be available? The possibility of trashing spam tokens for free would also be cool.
Hello. Waves developers ended development of code for ledger wallet. Now we're waiting while ledger is auditing the code. So, waves in ledger will be available in near future, follow the news on our telegram channel: t.me/wavesnews

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place to suggest Waves wallet improvements. I really enjoy to use the wallet, also for other coins like BTC and ETH. It became my main wallet.

One big issue or better say one big irksomeness is the spam assets. I receive at least one (mostly multiple) spam assets a day. When token burn feature was implemented I tried to burn them to keep a better overview of my valuable assets. But I have given up now. There are too many and it costs a lot.

So I came up with the idea to simply filter out the spam tokens. But unfortunately there are only the filter options "spam tokens" and all tokens, but no filter for non-spam tokens. Could you implement such a filter in the upcoming version?

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. Could you, please place it on Waves forum in a specialized section https://forum.wavesplatform.com/c/ideas?

Best wishes,
Waves Community manager.

I think before tokens reach your main list you should have a tab or sub-menu to "accept" them.
I love the Waves technology but it's now mandatory for the Waves team to resolve that because 90% of the complaints here are about spam tokens.
I know you can't prevent spam token as the entire system is decentralised, but a turn around must be find right now.

Hello,

Why on desktop client it's not possible to copy and paste our password in order to access our account?

"Copy and paste" option works good in Desktop version for password and SEED phrase as well. Please try to download and reinstall the Client from here https://wavesplatform.com/product. Do not forget to save your SEED before reinstalling Waves Desktop Client.

Waves are a strong alternative to the crypto currency, I'm delighted with it. Its value is growing, and popularity is also growing.

Does anyone know how to find my initial waves balance at the close of the ICO?  It seems like it should be easy but am not having any luck.  Thanks in advance!
Hello BAPWaves.
You'd better raise a support ticket here: https://support.wavesplatform.com/

Kind regards,
Waves Community Manager

Thanks for the response but not sure it is necessary to open a support ticket.  To be clear, I still own all the initial coins acquired through the ico but would like to have a record of the amount.  Trying to sort out how much was purchased in the ico, bought on the exchanges or earned from staking.  Surely, there is an easy way to find a listing of the ico distributions or a mechanism to search through block explorer?

You'll be assisted by our support team regarding your situation, it will be better for you because they can provide the most accurate info.
And yes, we have our own tracker - http://wavesexplorer.com/

I was very impressed by the support from the Waves team.  It is very encouraging as an investor that the customer service is fantastic.  Thanks again for the assistance.
The wave is really a pretty good project. The team has been working hard but the price has been low.I hope he can catch up with eth.

Waves up 17% last week when all other coins were down 20%-30%. This alone means a lot.
Volume increased too and Waves seems to be a solid prospect even in this bear market.

Since ATH Waves lost value more than market, that is the reality.
BTW did the problem on DEX get fixed?

If you bought ATH you have a gambling problem and that is not what this community cares. I believe we are bouncing now because this project is working towards great things that will come in time, and a few big investors that know this are making their moves at the buying area.

You're talking with wrong people buddy. I've holding this over 2 years. And yes community should care late comers too.

Every coin lost value since the ATH of BTC, that is the reality my friend...
But I don't care!
I use this unique chance to fill my bags with ridiculous underrated waves coins!
Just get the best out of every market situation, buy continual small amounts over a long period of time and you will be always happy and a winner in the long run!

Even with the bear market in full force, wavesplatform's blockchain activity is hitting new all-time highs.
On average, $WAVES is the 7th most active network according to @Blocktivity.

37    Waves Waves

waves already moved from place <50 to place 37 now! => the market is slowly turning rational and the sentimental phase (hypecoins) with no real fundamentals are losing value.

best wishes

I wish people in here could come up with good arguments for both supporting and criticizing.
In terms of transactions we are behind the old good times, should we happy for that?
If the only measure is transaction, then top 10 should be much more different.
Better we focus on projects which can bring permanent high volume transactions, instead of daily solutions our discussions.
Anyway best wishes.

When desktop version is working fine and ledger's availability is around the corner no need to take risk by using unapproved or non recommended wallets. As one mate has pointed out desktop wallets working fine but extra safety measures always will be needed of regardless what wallet you use for cold storage.

2-we saw previously that ledger/waves is presently under approval process (by ledger)

To be honest I wouldn't use it, not in a million years, I would rather wait for ledger's integration! By the way the dektop client is pretty good and secure unless you fuck up your pc with keyloggers atc...

This is nothing more than a paper wallet glued on a copper coin, worth 15 cents and sold for 20 bucks.
La belle affaire.

And guess what : who got the private key?
The coin seller.....

Use it at your own risk.

impressive, thank you

Even with the bear market in full force, wavesplatform's blockchain activity is hitting new all-time highs. On Aug 3, the Dex processed little over 76'000 trades!

On average, WAVES is the 7th most active network according to Blocktivity.

http://dev.pywaves.org/txs/

That is a positive sign. Despite the price drop for all cryptos, development speeds up for the major projects including for Waves. I have been there for some time and the release interval has never been so fast. This will pay off when bear market is over and bull market starts again. However I would be interested how much activity is created by the spam tokens I receive almost every day.

I agree with you. There are too many tokens which spam the network with their useless transactions. My portfolio is so 'dirty' because of such tokens...many of them are not only spam, but also scams, pretending to be something else. For example I received some tokens called "ETHWALLET.GA". This looks very shady and I suggest everyone to not open that link!
