These now can not be compared. At the start, they could still compare with each other in something. But now the waves are far behind eth . And probably it will be hard to catch up with the development and price.

Waves still held its value better than most my altcoins, even now below $2.
I mean, some of my coins lost 97% of their value (yes, I'm looking at YOU COSS, lol).

Yep...too many tokens of dubious utility.

Waves used that feature a lot for attract people. Even it seems garbage to us, with additional tools from Waves or third parties token generation can attract people who wants to use it for good not just scams or spams.

It's not like their other payment gateways like Bitcoin, Zcash, DASH, Monero, etc which all have their own blockchain that you have to work with.

Thanks but I meant I also didn't get why they are not adding bunch of ERC20 tokens at the same time.
But obviously they have different plans and things can change after atomic swap.

Instead of sending BTC through their gateway, a suggestion might be to use a service such as https://changelly.com/ to convert BTC to Waves and send directly to your Waves account.

If you go through a different exchange or convert currencies then it's very hard to track because they have huge pools of crypto. Plausible deniability, at the very least Wink

You can track on the BTC blockchain, and on the Waves blockchain.
When you swap BTC for wBTC, if think you can easily guess with the amount sent.
eg.: I send 1.4458BTC to the gateway, I receive 1.4458 wBTC. The link is easy.

So I don't think you can stay anonymous that way.
To stay the most anonymous, and blur the link between blockchains, you must use the Monero gateway. Only the gateway will know about your account, but peoples won't be able to track.

No doubt Shahsha is very talented person with good experience in this failed but this is true Waves is far away from adoption. There is no big project being developed on this platform and all start up turned into scam this is not a good sign for this project.
