As I see it this chain regularly becomes the option of choice by lots of dubious token offerings on the grounds of a reduced tokens launch price, but other than that I see no real application and no real projects.

Waves team should focus to ımprove ıco performence of platform a lıttle bıt, lıke all other platform does, you can check paytomat ıco. they would use waves platform as token untıl theır chaın redy but they saw the ıco performance of the platform and now they are thınkıng to use eos platform, eos platform doesnt have dex but they decıde to go, waves team cant use thıs advantage of platform.
I think the fall in the price of standing alternative currencies today is normal. Also, I think that very few alternative currencies that are growing today are really growing - most are simply inflated artificially, and the moments of growth of bitcoin are very expensive for such manipulators.

Just in case you did not know, Waves DEX is already live for over a year and just received a major upgrade. Average daily trading volume is between 6 MM and 8 MM USD, or around 1000 BTC. I am trading regulairy on the DEX, as fee per transaction is only 0.003 Waves, which is around 0.001 USD.
lol, most of the volume on dex is wash trading so it's irrelevant.
waves is just another russian scam. just more sophisticated.
To be honest some smaller projects coming even recently have outperformed waves, some are even just following what waves committed as a project, we can see neo, eos and others moving nicely, waves being one of the older and solid projects in the field of complete tokenization platform and ecosystem is still way undervalued, i think it should have been around $50 per waves to give the right value.

The same situation, bro)) It looks like the Nem sect which I have for more than a year. We all believe in the project and hold tokens, but it's hardly progressed and slowly goes back! It's a sad situation but it's not a right option to sell without a profit! We've been waiting for so long)

So, when do you plan to implement smart contracts for Waves Platform? As I remember it was promised several months ago? Or maybe smart contracts already in place without announcements?

What is the Wallet Beta they speak about? I thought the Waves Desktop Client is already a complete release version?
Beta was just another version of Lite Client, the full one as well. Now Waves introduces Online Beta Client (web version) and Desktop Beta Client (installing), which have the same content and are updated simultaneously. Unfortunately never. It seems to me that this project will not bring us big profits and multiplying our capital by several times. This is a stable coin, which can give a small profit.Imo if the current developments are rolling out like smart contracts etc, the price can increase multiply times.
$50 for 1 waves before the end of this year is still possible imo.
It's always a matter of adoption, last year ethereum went up big times because of the ICO bubble, which bad or good, it's a use case for ethereum, people bought loads of ETH to partecipate into ICOs
It's all about adoption. Adoption of developers, entrepreneurs, traders, users, investors more and more.
Unfortunately we are away from those so far IMO.
Waves is a big-time project and it will make more and more progress, specially with smart contracts as an important development step ahead, it will be a valid competitor for ETH and other big projects of the cryptocurrency world.
Technicals are good for WAVES. Actually I use waves often and i never experience problem in it. because i like decentralize exchange. I'm not sure why people not usually use it but someday with this new Thread waves will gain popularity and more people will use it.. Can't wait for this!!
