I was able to manually cancel it from WAVES support tip of clean cache, restarting computer and internet connection (router).....

Do you know why that worked for a web based wallet?  It's interesting in blockchain science.

I don't understand what you exactly did. So I guess, you have logged in https://waves.exchange/ first.

Here is an instruction how you activate it and how you cancel it. Did you do the same thing?

I would like to know if I was ever paid any stakes and how I can cancel it
It says lease next to it in explorer but no Lease Cancel, why is that?

When I do try to cancel it in the Wallet it always says "Something went wrong"  Why is that?  Happened yesterday too.
I'm a little surprised this is happening....and hope to get an answer soon.

It seems this node isn't available anymore. If I have a look in wavesexplorer it says "Status: canceled: https://wavesexplorer.com/tx/2PWzMAC5qi3kuP8wstHFrvqmTFTB3VFap3YxZzmupemD
I don't know why that Status in that Transaction is canceled

The other point is, that I cannot find your Lease Node here http://dev.pywaves.org/lpos/

But anyway. If I take a look at your account it seems that you were able to cancel the lease yesterday evening.

Congratulations to the Waves team!

This is big news, I can imagine Sasha couldn't speak about it before it was confirmed.

If you are a long term waves owner my advice is to convert your stack into usdt and leverage it x10 on binance (if you have below $10k).

You get zero liquidation risk while getting the stack back and alot of fiat liquidity for lower interval positioning.

The only cost is a monthly funding rate which is presently 0.01% x3 daily on your money.

Don't sell too early this time, it can easily go to $300 or thousands during w5 peak.

We are in w3, retracements are shallow. W3 is the most impulsive wave, tracking $14-$32 before significant retracement.

The main benefit is that you are never out of position.

Always keep a base amount of waves to hedge that $8k parabola, and trade intervals for surplus.

Intervals are:

54 cents-1.14
1.14-1.65
1.65-2.25
2.25-2.9
2.9-4.1
4.1-4.81
4.81-7.4

Future intervals may be:
0.0012 BTC (tested)
0.002 (tested)
0.0036
0.0048

I would add a disclaimer that traders only do this if they believe price will not retrace from $4 for any significant period of time or that they can competently manage extreme price variations. Price was 1 dollar less than 1 month ago.

Haven't logged into my waves account in a long time.  I previously a long time ago used the waves lite client... then used the desktop waves client.  But last time it seem to updated... so what do i use now to log into my waves wallet?

https://waves.exchange

You can simply use your passphrase to access your coins again.

I'm confused so now its a wallet online?  So the desktop waves client is no longer working?

waves.exchange is the waves exchange. You can use it as a wallet of course. Desktop waves client is no longer working.
If you're looking for a (desktop) wallet only you can use wavesfx Wallet. https://wavesfx.github.io/

Incessant changes in waves wallets (not the only domain for Waves)

Waves' ecosystem is continuously expanding with new products and tools to cater to a spectrum of blockchain users' needs. Today, we introduce a new 'Waves card series', funsized infographics for funsized features. Our first card: Wallets!

All the wallets built by different Waves community teams empower you inside the ecosystem. Through these dApps you can manage digital assets and interact with the blockchain. So much more than simply storing crypto!

Waves launches ERC-20 port to make USDN and its staking functionality accessible in the Ethereum ecosystem. This is another major step towards the Waves' general mission - achieving Inter-chain DeFi.

habitual waves pumps have a shorter life:

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/waves_BTC

When fundamental are doing their job nicely than no need to be worry actually pump and dump is showing that project still alive and big players trying to accumulate. It was nice ride to make profit if someone bought this token 2 weeks ago than he is in very good position to enjoy this ride.

Thanks to Christophe Verdot, a member of the Waves Association, for coming up with a comprehensive user manual on interacting with Waves Explorer. This is a handy tool for traders and developers for tracking data of the Waves-enabled web services.

See how it operates!

snip

I think yesterday's pump is just the beginning. Waves are highly underestimated. This is a high-quality platform and their coin should cost at least ten times more.

Waves is ahead of Ethereum on development, staking (leasing) is working great and easy to enable.
I'm pretty sure we're moving towards Eth price.

To put my money where my mouth is, I've invested a lot in both Waves and TurtleNetwork.

I think also that waves will go to a huge height like ETH, but don't know why they couldn't achieved it yet. As you said they are ahead than ETH blockchain in almost every thing but still users going for the eth network. Waves need to invent something special and different from others which will attract users to use the platform. Hope one day waves will reach  the 100$ mark.

BTW, I never heard of Turtle Network.

Turtlenetwork is a waves fork priced at 1/1000 with staking rewards from real fees unlike waves inflation which is not backed by anything.

https://wallet.turtlenetwork.eu/sign-in
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/turtlenetwork/

The reason no one knows about TN is because WCT voting malfunctioned back in march and got stuck at 1.7/5 when in reality TurtleNetwork services every function for companies that waves does except at a buyin of 1/1000 which is part of the reason Marquise $Museum is active there since july.

Their new exchange came online late june, very few people are yet aware of how far advanced this platform is and I myself fluked into a 500k stack (100m max supply) for less than 2k waves which is probably the best acquistion this decade but I must admit it was pure luck.

Reserved USD 18 000 for TN in exchange for a good sized share, 15-25m.

200 active users, 1/10th of waves, valuation nearly 1/1000. Reason it's not trading at $10m cap is because WCT voting malfunction and no big name exchange.

http://statistics.turtlenetwork.eu/txs/

TN exchange is already untracked on CMC.

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/turtle-network-dex/

Everyone knows about Blackturtlenode it's one of the biggest leasing nodes but awareness of this platform is zero otherwise price would be corrected already.

Why buy something priced at x1000 when you can get great company migration into crypto with TurtleNetwork.

I am only sharing this because yesterdays exit from waves netting $18k and because accumulation target for TN phase 1 was already obtained and no top wallets are willing to part with their stacks in return for this $18k. 500k is a good start.

For those of you who are new to waves and missed the train, TurtleNetwork is valued at /1000 with 1/10th userbase EU based running a top 5 node on waves.

Some benefits compared to waves is staking rewards backed by real activity unlike waves inflating supply policy.

0.04-0.15 target, presently $600k cap 0.00135.

Buy it.
