have they mentioned a timeframe to when they will give bounties? i know its after ico but does anyonne know a timeframe?
day? week?

it would be reasonable to give the bounties are the final release. I think they will still hold it for awhile as may 31 isn't the final release.
investors may even wait about months as someone mentioned it. can anyone confirm, is this true?

Some people keep saying that it will drop at launch and that we should buy waves then, not at ICO. Then they say it is normal, all coins drop big in the beginning.

So can anyone then tell me what is the benefit, not counting bonuses, of buying now, at ICO stage? Why not just wait and buy when it initially drops??
why have so many invested , probably 20k BTC, when to some it is "obvious" it will drop at start and it is better to buy later?!

It will be a lot more expensive to add last minute BTC if the recent price hike holds. I wonder if that will effect the size of the last minute surge?

A lot of larger btc holders think in terms of 1 btc= 1btc not really in terms of (insert your countries currency) fiat. So it may not have the effect that usually smaller holders think. Also for those people thinking waves is going to tank....When whales invest several hundred btc into something they don't let it tank they know all small fish will sell at 2-5x and buy them knowing they will cut you all out later when Waves is 40-100x. Then people are buying from them over time and that's where real money gets made. So cheer up dumpers Wink

So the whales who already are heavily invested are gonna buy up the thousands of btc of sell pressure on launch to keep it from tanking? Smiley

The 5k btc that is gonna be invested from 27th - 31th is basically the money that could've made this a stable launch. This is also the reason i'm making these posts in hope of some people will rethink buying in at this stage and instead buy the drop. A massive drop will certainly set waves back for a good while, and it being only a set back is best case scenario.

If I was on the dev team i'd close the ICO today. Mentalities have changed, a massive bubble mentality has arisen concerning ICOs and i'm just waiting for the first real burn victim.

You make some points worth considering. But I don't think the dev team can just abruptly end an ico before a date that has been advertised from the beginning, no matter how compelling the reasons may be. I don't know that there is even precedent for such a thing. You have to stand by your word, especially when it comes to something as fundamental and basic as the end date of your ico. I've heard of ico's ending earlier than anticipated because certain targets were reached. But those ico's advertised from the beginning that they retained the option to end early. I can't imagine that ending early would even be an option in the case of Waves.

Great analysis. You make some great points. I think you're probably right on. (Just goes to show that I think like a "smaller" BTC holder. Smiley

I'm grateful I got most of my BTC in at pre-spike rates. I was once hoping to have over 100k waves but I'm losing the battle lately. It's still within sight so I was kind of hoping for a more moderate finish. But whatever is best for the project!  The whales can be our friends, especially if we understand how they think. You've given us a look into that mindset. Thanks for that.

Yes, it's only unfair against the people who invested in the beginning.
They should've stopped the ICO.

People need to relax...how is any of this unfair?  The rules were clearly stated at the onset, everyone had a choice whether or not to invest.

Absolutely nothing unfair about it. It's just the "ICO launch is free money" investors that will get a little smack across the fingers when this launches, punishing every other investor at the same time.

"ICO launch is free money" mentality has spread so far now that the buy pressure post launch is sinking for every ICO  and the sell pressure increasing. This will probably be the strongest example to date of this, concerning a serious and bullish coin.

No.

I am in favour of it trading straight after the ICO.

Let the weak hands drop.

Exactly! the massive dump will always happen either way. those who are interested to only get easy money right after the ICO or 6 months after the ICO will always do that no matter what. just let them burn so we'll know how much is waves value when they're gone.

just with the difference where the floor is going to be either x times over the ICO price or under ICO price.

No polo, No Bittrex, No any other exchanges.

Buddy, Because Waves Is A Decentralized Exchange, So All Centralized Exchanges Decided To Boycott  Waves!

There is a lesson for crazy people.

But for Waves, It will become the No.1 crypto-Exchange.

What exchanges will it be traded on?
I hope Polo or at least Bittrex  Cheesy

You hope? There has been no announcement?

"The crowdfunding tokens can be traded at decentralized NXT Asset Exchange and centralized exchange partners before the Mainnet launches."

That's it.
