After we're finished with this, we proceed to listing at exchanges. So we'll move fast, but efficiently.

I tend to agree that it would be better for Waves to NOT trade on exchanges until it is has its official launch, not the IOU token release.
Give the community time and incentive to market our investment. Otherwise, you weaken community support and word of mouth marketing opportunity.

I think the launch should be delayed until everything is ready and the mainnet is ready for launch. We don't want to see another DAO.
Beta mainnet will launch as planned, of course everything needs to be properly tested after launch. After first checks we will enable investors to withdraw their tokens. Invited and allowed exchanges will need to perform their checks and set their nodes also after team is happy with network.
So how long after the ICO until we can withdraw our tokens?
Our goal is to release beta lite client with no blockchain download and enable investors to withdraw their tokens on June, 1. With bigger usage of the network additional tests and tweaks can be performed. We want to ensure smooth distribution of Waves tokens, including bounties distribution. So everyone will be able to withdraw their tokens without stress while additional tests are being performed and while exchanges can prepare for proper launch.
Thanks. The reason I ask is because i'm considering a large purchase on last day, but dont want to get LISKed. So we will probably be able to trade on June 1st then?
It will depend from developers and testing, tweaking network. After they give green light exchanges will be able to set their nodes, only allowed ones. I wouldn`t count on trading in first days as everything is real time work and requires time.
So are bounties paid the same time as distibution or on a later date?
We want to ensure that noone is left behind. Bounties will be able to be withdrawn during standard distribution while all people have their Waves addresses available.

Once the ICO ends, and the trading start, assuming that the value per Waves token should increase from ~10-ish cents to 1-2-5-10 dollars USD is just wishful thinking. Why would the value magically bounce up 10x-100x over a matter of hours? Magical unicorns spreading rainbow pixie dust over the Waves ICO?
I think it's great that the tokens are released directly after the ICO, it's a fair game for everyone participating. We all can start trading real assets rather than IOUs taken from thin air. Let the Waves roll, and we will see how the markets reacts. Let the hype build up for the platform launch, in the end of this summer, and we'll see what the tokens are worth at that point. By that time the Waves team may have announced more partnerships, a better detailed roadmap and brought more features to the table. Remember that in a few days the ICO funds can get used for further development, marketing and promotions.

OK lets talk sense around here, at launch $1 is realistic as a "floor price" maybe going up to $3.

Why should the price go to $1 at launch? If waves becomes tradeble right after launch, isn't anyone in who wants to be in by than?

this is just like the pre DAO launch discussion. people prattling on about DAO going to 10X and all that hype. when an ICO closes and then IMMEDIATELY launches there is no hiatus period for additional buy pressure to build up. all the trading troll boxes know about Waves. there will be no market 'discovery' of Waves on day one of trading.
the difference between DAO and Waves is the size of the ICO investment bubble. The DAO's was so massive that there was no room to grow, and pegged to ETH. Waves has room, but btc is zooming up.
