DeepOnions for the WIN!
We will start uploading GUI next week. Initially only two or three tabs will be available in Waves lite client - Balances and History are the most important, Exchanges tab is most complex one. Then we will implement Voting and Messaging as soon as the functionality is stable in testnet.

My Waves balance hasn't declined much, ICO slowing down?

To a crawl. 4,683 BTC were raised in the first 24 hours. Today the total raised is 5162. So yeah, the ICO went from hare to turtle after the first day.

Yup, that's why it makes no sense to have 7 week ICO's. People buy at the first bonus day and at the last day to increase their coins. Two weeks should be enough.

I think they're just betting that not too many people will decide not to buy based on an increased length of ICO. This means every day they can stretch out is good for them. Unfortunately, that's not the case for the ICO participants as they increase risk and lose liquidity.

Also, Waves started their ICO at a high-time in the altcoin world. If a peak like the one last month occurs in the market again, they'll see an increased BTC inflow.

If Waves is an decentralised fiat-crypto exchange what function does Waves-token have? Is it anything special with Waves-token?

Waves token is not just for trading. Waves token will be the fuel of the whole platform and all operations happening there. When you will be trading with other crypto currencies or fiat which will be represented there as tokens, Waves token will be used, when you are transferring assets, Waves token is used, when you are withdrawing asset in form of currency to your wallet, Waves token is used. When someone is issuing the asset Waves token is used. When all other projects will be using Waves platform, the same Waves token will be used for all their operations. Other currencies will be just supported on the platform. I know personally lot of projects already which will move to the Waves platform.

and indeed there is talk about waves, nxt and stuff. this project looks like its not going to be finished anywhere soon in the future.

compliance with banks, putting FIAT into blockchain.... its hoot air. we know no banks working with crypto startups. they form their own blockchains or hire coders for $7000 a month.

or they are putting jl777 not finished deep red assets on waves. or like startet with coinomat - a deep red dead asset.

We will be starting with payment providers and we will present tech to banks next.

Payment providers are working with Sasha from long time.

Waves will have its own decentralized exchange and assets. Jl777 is not team member.

You can read more about jl777 involvment here http://coremedia.info/index.php/supernet/item/237-supernet-weekly-no4

I don`t know where you are learning about Waves but definitely you should verify your source.

I have a Question:

Sasha Ivanov, founder Waves ICO, told IBTimes: "We are building a blockchain platform which will be used by banks and many payments systems.

No banks have ever used any Crypto Currency Ever.. And Ripple has tried and Tried .. You have no software .. No coin but you have banks ready to use Waves .. REALLY??

I guess that this is the vision..

fidor bank is working as the only bank with cryptos and its not a brookerhouse.

but

having a software running capable like an exchange with the speed of a e-broker like cmc its like a year of development for a 15 people team.

its soo much hot air in this project, you can get burned easily.

When do you plan to crawl back into the Lisk thread? You obviously are very negative towards the project.

Now that I think of it maybe I should jump over the Lisk thread aswell and start with the "They fucked crypti investors. Did 2 ICOs and the 2nd one was for cloaning their first project. They already failed with 1 project where they spent all the $. Overbought LISK ICO". I could chip in with another 10-20 accounts for peanuts. You guys seem to have a fun time here while this project is not even a direct competitor to LISK.

But honestly what do YOU think?

what do YOU think about Coinomat?

I think that this will be a several million dollar project with several developers who have some past code as a reference to look back on. Or do you look at Lisk as another Crypti? If that's so, you can prepare your anus. Good enough answer?

Hi There,

Reaching out to the devs here, I invested already but seem to have forgotten my password. There is no option to recover my password on the login page.

Can someone please advise how to go about re-setting my password.  Huh

Thanks in Advance.

Things are called shit for a reason, dear.
If I understood it correctly then WAVES will over Dapps like Lisk and Ethereum, right? If so, in which programming language will the WAVE Dapps be programmed? Javascript?
