When can we test the waves platform?
I tried joining the Facebook group 4 or so days ago, but the request is still pending. Is that supposed to happen?

Waves is a very long ICO. all those wanting to buy will have more than enough time to do so. the price at launch has to drop.
there is some truth to this, if the whole crypto community has already bought during the ICO, no one will buy once it is launched. Only sellers will be active.
Really need to shorten the ICO, much too long ...
Maybe the big buyer will dump the 20% bonus or maybe not but that`s how they manipulate the market

It's because alot of you guys are hyping it during the ico. same thing happened with lisk. Your supposed to hype when its over, leaving everyone who didn't buy to buy on exchanges.

But I agree that ICO is somehow to long - better close early. Wait 2-3 weeks before you put it on the market to produce hype ( in those 2-3 weeks you announce some mega new feature or a partner) and price rises for sure.

i doubt anyone is willing to sell their coins at a loss after the launch. the price will naturally be a multiple of the ico price.

But in dashboard the timestamp of tx is 2016-04-13 00:59:07

even if the timestamp in your dashboards counted it would still be during the 20% bonus period. also, it has been confirmed before that the moment of the second confirmation determines your eligibility and that nobody will miss the bonus due to the delayed processing.

No they aren't. Math doesn't work that way.
Of course it works this way.
The 20% bonus was not notable during the first 24 hours because EACH btc investment had the added 20%. This way it made no difference because your share was the same as if no one had gotten a bonus.
Now as the proportion of 10% and 5% bonus investments get bigger during april and may, your 20% bonus will become more and more notable.
example of how the bonus is added on the fly:
peter 100btc (counts as 120btc) //20% bonus
bob 50btc (counts as 60btc) //20% bonus
__24h passed__
max 50btc (counts as 55btc) //10% bonus
before the 24h passed the bonus did not make a difference. peter had 66.6% of the waves and bob had 33.3%. wether the 20% were added or not.
after the 24h period the bonus becomes notable as bob now owns 25.5% of waves and max owns only 23.4% but they both paid 50btc.
