That must be a secret plan.  The plans and roadmaps we have been given have never been met not even once.

Some recent hints(today) from the Waves Team that everything is going according to plan, on Slack:

Maybe so if the price just don't drop much. People wanted to know how things are and are interested to the reports as its written on the roadmap.
While we guys are waiting, maybe we should divert our attention somewhere else this time. Sahsa should move his eth to ETC.

That is the main thing that is a joke really. There is no point having the "Everything is going to be okay in time approach" simply because the price will just go down until more deadlines near, then more delays happen? Why even have deadlines in the first place? Price reflects current situation.

The problem is that not even a single deadline has been kept since the ICO ended.  I've not come across any projects large or small where every deadline is missed.  Right now those of us who are holding long term are getting more and more disheartened. 

If you have no intention or capability of sticking to a deadline don't announce it.  Like many people have said most companies can achieve more on $300K.  Sasha has $30m.  He can hire an army of people to accelerate development if necessary.  The impression that one gets is of someone who is completely aloof and doesn't really care about the investors. 

PR continues to be bad - free projects would put WAVES to shame and no conversation on Slack which is mostly other people talking about WAVES doesn't count.  Poor Twiggy seems as much in the dark as the rest of us.

So right now we have a $30m ICO, no PR, lots of missed deadlines and not a whole lot more.  If I was cynical I might think that the dev team was off partying on our money.

If all the previous promises haven been broken regarding deadlines why should this be any different?  You reach a certain point where the promises being made no longer have any credibility.

We could be in the same situation 5 years from now and still be waiting for nodes to release and other exchanges to add.  Sorry to say but I would have been better off keeping my bitcoins and investing them into something else.

Sasha and the team will need to change something drastically if they want my confidence back.

With the amount of money raised at ICO, in one week they could do so much.. Money talks.

Preferably not buy walls.

I don't know why everyone is so hung up on weekly newsletters. I mean how much can they do in 1 week? I understand, we are all waiting for bigger news but this is a big project and not a WordPress installation or something easy. I think people are waiting a little too much for weekly newseltters, there is not much one can do in 1 week, you cant have major news every week in such a complicated project.

There is nothing strange. Martin finished his work. After that, Sasha should check it, and only then the information will be available for all. A typical procedures

You are still doing a fantastic job here and have been from the start, but promises from the dev team? I'll believe it when I see it.

 

With the amount of money raised, surely if they wanted to they could hire pretty much everything that would be needed in order to make the Waves Platform a massive success? I know they've only had the funds a few months, but to me they could be used so much better.. That seriously is an insane amount of money, it could be doing wonders! I guess we'll see what happens a little further on down the line. I don't expect to see a significant price rise until months from now though anymore, we'll be seeing 20k again soon IMHO.

This is what I've been saying the fund raising was very premature without having more product finished.  However with publicity comes responsibility and Sasha has been going to many conferences and this public side of things leads to almost forced completion.
