Im the One who Knocks.
If devs weren't looking for a quick payout and free coins to copy paste some code they would have a fair launch no ico no premine like iocoin i/o digital, but they want free money n now will wash market out of all the suckers

I have had a much better experience investing in coins with a Fair Launch (mining) thats for sure, and have to say (although i am biased) https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/io-coin-ticker-ioc-stealth-blockchain-ecosystem-dions-chameleon-695855  is the best example of how to run a project using the devs own funds and build something amazing.

I think things here are going to be taken nice and slow, so if i have to wait 1 year until this coin  see 100k sats region, so be it :O)  That will be a good pay day.

Guys, dont care about waves price now. Let it drop to 10k or 1k or some hundred satoshi. Whats most important is that waves company are dumping their ICO BTC on top of the halving pump now, so they can get as much USD $$ as possible for waves development before bitcoin dump. THEN they should start focus on waves and utility for waves and we will see a pump start from there and only there!

Many new coins go through similar life cycles.  Many of the successful coins pump, then drop, and maybe hover around the ICO price for months before finally ascending to all time highs.

its not a secret of trading that this will happen. its just the matter of time, like when, because there is a development.

i am sure there is enough to make for waves to invest in devs. but it will take time. alone creating a company, then all the certifications you need can take some months or a full year.

i dont think investors are going to lose patience so its crashing more. the price atm is ok, could go higher, but in a healthy way, not like hard spikes up and then down. thats not good for nothing.

I think alot of people got used to these scam coins hitting an exchange and pumping. That is not real growth after the pump the  coin dies a slow death. This is real coin developement if you need quick flips go on yobit or ccex there are plenty of shitcoins to pump.

I think a lot of ICO flippers made out like bandits after Lisk and popped their money back into Waves for a quick flip. I myself covered my original investment and now about 25percent of my original purchase will ride where ever the market takes it. All those that were looking for a good midterm investment in this will be disappointed. The timing sucked (not necessarily devs fault), but extending the ICO meant that the coin was way way too overbought when it launched and it allowed a lot of parasitic flippers to invest with their Lisk gains. My advice is to cover your losses, let the rest ride on the market and see where the fundamentals take it in 6 months time.  Just my opinion but if the Devs really were silly enough to put up obvious buy walls with the ICO cash then I am not hopeful for the long term development of this coin.

On the bright side Wings ICO is soon and might be a better bet? A lot of people are wary about anything DAO at that moment so there might be less "irrational over exuberance" in that ICO?

Finally, NEVER invest more in a single ICO than you would be happy to lose in a casino in a single night.

Peace.

Dude, please tell me, what is the point of investing in the ICO if the price will be crashed after to force out the 'weak hands'?

first, i've already said that i agree they should put the buy walls sooner, that was ridiculous.. they didnt protected their investors and lots of people bought cheaper than ICO. but they didnt force out "weak hands" like you said... but again.. they should have put buy walls sooner so i kinda agree with you.

Again, please tell me the benefit of investing in the ICO.  You just like wasting time / money?

The benefit should be cheaper coins but that was ruined by the lack of buy walls and the bounty distribution.
My point is... don't assume this is waves team manipulating the price. they finally put some buy walls and that's a good thing(kinda late, but still nice). i'm just a small fish and i still force the price down sometimes with just a few bitcoins.

i just wanna inform u guys that waves platform works just the same regardless of the token price

if waves is 1 cent it works same as if waves token is $1 or $10

the price is just speculation , its not related to how platform works

Just wait for a solid update / upgrade to the wallet.

Like the first actual function on the roadmap.

Then we will most likely see some action.

they r disappointed cuz LISK was 4x ico price right when listed

its not secret that 99% ppl here care only for profit. they dont care if profit is generated by scammer.

they just want the moneys and they want the moneys AS QUICK as possible obviously

I don't think trading on Poloniex changes much.  Maybe you get a quick pump, but in the long run it's irrelevant. If people want to buy a coin, they will buy it.  It doesn't matter where it trades.  Do you really think a "whale" says "Waves is an amazing coin, but I'm only loyal to trading on Poloniex"?  That's absurd.

Whales need volume, which Bittrex lacks.

Whales creates their own liquidity.

Most of the ETH trade volume you see on polo is fake. They are bots buying and selling their own coins to give investors confidence in the coin. They also get very discounted trading fees from exchange compared to regular traders.

So they're purposing crashing the price to accumulate more from their own investors?  That's disgusting.  And you guys call me scum for emphasizing these scammy tactics in an effort to make back my losses?

Let me guess, the posters after me are going to rejoice that the founder/team are forcing their own investors to sell to buy back.  Great strategy to piss on your investors.  I'll never trust Sasha or anyone on his team with any ICO or crypto currency ever again.  This is a scam, plain and simple.
What coin are you pushing? just curious

its not about what coin he's pushing. its what you are doing piss of shit!  its sort of like betraying those who fund you! you are suppose to know that. i expect russian mobs still honor their words.

You people make me LOL
So basically you want them to put a wall but nobody should dump against it?
Be happy there is a wall or waves would have been trading low 20s already.... some people.... really

Let me just LOLZ you more.

So if sasha's bittrex account buying waves from the weak hands, they are supporting those who troll around this thread and those who FUD.
May we assume those troll are waves' account too?

I therefore conclude sasha's truley a troll.

I'm scared of such manipulation as it is anyways just like anyone, but hey then you can go into safer coins *ahem* - i won't mention which one Tongue lol

But yes that is part of crypto so what can you do?!  Can't bitch and whine about it...hey what if NOBODY traded waves then it'd be dead right?  But on other hand yes it's frustrating for 90% of traders wth such crazy manipulation/trading cos it locks the bloody price with huge walls....which is annoying because can't even trade the thing!

agree   but they dont ban ppl from chat rooms for asking questions that make them uncomfortable
if the question is legit it should be answered not ban  from asking

Well, I don't know the questions that were asked because I'm not in the chat.  But, it's easy to sniff out FUD that's embedded in questions.  Are you constantly asking the same question with the intention of spreading fear?  I've been at this game long enough to see both sides of the interaction between developers and coin holders.  Coin holders can be very impatient and irrational.  Waves is different because the development team received 21mm, so more interaction from the developers is expected/required.

sasha35625 why was i banned?

for saying "why dose the dev need to keep so many coins on exchange?"

most dev's take coin they buy off exchange to give investors confidence

was that a ban question?

how about an answer?
asked it once lol

dude... did they forced you, or anyone else to sell them cheap waves? retards are selling waves at this price and other retards blame waves team..
Vcash use this method for years and people still love john connor, real investor are making money buying cheap too and selling 2k~3K higher.

Dude, please tell me, what is the point of investing in the ICO if the price will be crashed after to force out the 'weak hands'?  Weak hands are the people who invested in the project.  What the heck kind of piss poor logic is it to blame investors for being worried that their investment is losing money?

Don't come at me with FUD or no one forced blah blah.  If the point is to force out investors, why even invest before it goes to the exchanges?  What is the benefit of locking your BTC into the ICO, not being able to use it for weeks, jumping through hoops to get access, move to an exchange, and so on... to get blamed for being a weak loser?  To get called names and banned from the project community slack/chat?

What is the point?  Waves treated their investors like shit but they're like, "hey don't be pussies, trust us until late 2017"... Sasha continually said .0003 was the last chance to buy cheap, and yet, it went down to .00026.  Then he says he sold 100 mil coins when in fact it was 85 mil.  He also says he's the owner of the largest account on Bittrex accumulating shares, which is essentially a middle finger to his own investors, on top of the rest of this crap.

Again, please tell me the benefit of investing in the ICO.  You just like wasting time / money?

So at what price did you panic sell? Also on the way back up what price did you buy again?

You seem like you just want to place the blame on the Waves team as you didn't profit as much as you hoped, now you are throwing a tantrum. Stop complaining, either dump and leave or hold and stop crying.
