if waves want to take ethereum's position as the best altcoin then it won't happen anytime soon. ethereum still has a community that is so large that it is very unlikely that waves can outperform ethereum. it took so long and needed new innovations from developer Waves to be the best. ethereum will remain the best altcoin and have high capabilities in the world of digital currencies.
I think Waves has a really good future. And in the years to come, I believe that Waves will be one of the biggest and most important crpyto companies. But for this to happen, Waves should continue to grow for at least 3-4 years like this. Maybe after that, Waves can replace Ethereum. But before that time, I don't think it will be happen.

I think WAVES only got a good direction in 2019 and ETH has just upgraded ETH 2.0.
In my opinion, ETH is still the best altcoin and no one can compete with it. MEW has just been upgraded and MEWconnect really works very well and efficiently.
I don't think waves will be the next Ethereum or can be replace it. Ethereum have a great platform with smart contract that are often used in ICO projects. Waves has a different platform and is not as popular as Ethereum.

Honestly, waves is better than Ethereum in terms of technical characteristics. The waves blockchain works faster. I really like the Waves project. The team has created a great wallet and a good decentralized exchange. But I do not think that the waves will be able to replace ethereum.
There could be possibility that waves will replace ethereum, especially if this wave crypto will be improve and carefully manage to attrack investors and customers, in this business even if you are the lead , there would be a great competitions among this different kind of coins, in order to gain popularity and gain trust from the customers and investors ,so it is not far that one coin will surpass another coin.
Obviously this is a very low possibility. I tthink waves plarform based on good ideas and it is a good project. But on the other hand, i really don’t think that it will replace ethereum.
In my opinion, many coins have quality platforms and continue to grow their marketcap on the market, if we see Ethereum now starting to decline and continue to rise in price not as we know before. The wave is currently taking advantage of every coin to improve its quality because investors continue to grow and Crypto has a good future. I can only hope that the best goes by and does not take sides in the conversation.

I do not understand why the question is interesting, will the waves overtake and replace Ethereum? What the hell does it matter? It is necessary to work with the coins that are on the market. all coins have the opportunity to be equivalent to ethereum. waves are old coins that have developed, unfortunately indeed for the use of platforms from the market more crowded ethereum. In a community, Ethereum will be bigger, but in price, everything can happen in the crypto market.

no waves platform will never take over ethereum why? because waves platform was too easy, many fake coins there and even yourself you can make coins with a penny without knowledge blockchain not like ethereum.
Waves price is going upward from the last few days but it is far away from Ethereum to replace it. Waves is also a good coin for the investment but it is not easy for it to replace Ethereum.
Wave is indeed a very good coin.But it is very difficult to replace eth. Because eth has a huge community, great technology, etc.It is not easily replaced.Now, although the price is very low, it will recover someday.
There's always competitions behind this two projects as being a usable platform mostly for ico projects, though there's continuous progress and theyoffers different style but advantage of ETH have good community and from that they build larger venues of supporters, it can be said when things

You can't compare Waves to Ethereum because Ethereum is very far ahead than waves when it comes to user adoptions that is because of their technology is better than any other coins. They have also one of the longest years in the market aside from Bitcoin and Xrp, they are already experienced and many developments that they have already implemented within those years and still they are going to continue rising up as 2nd on coinmarketcap.
to replace ethereum, I see this will be very difficult, the ratio of the price of waves and ethereum is very different. for supplies maybe ethereum will be replaced but for the price, it's not possible.
